I agree the paper has no credibility these days but it did read as “post” to me.

The LT will have just updated ‘planning to meet’ with ‘has met’ in the articles.

Indeed, the Telegraph would have been delighted to nab a post India interview so quickly and would have been all:

’EXCLUSIVE- Mowbray speaks post India’ etc.

I think it would make sense to look to loan out the like of Travis, Nuttall, Tomlinson and Wharton out to League 1 and League 2 clubs, or at least some of them.

Even before signing new players, none of them would be close to being a regular first team player, get them a season of regular game time elsewhere.

I would also like to think that although Mowbray mentioned a certain age bracket of signing, 22-24 was it, hed be foolish to not consider players outside of that.

Not really. He means they will get chances, but won't be the main ones relied on to get us into the top half. Sounds sensible. The young ones are unproven.

I wouldn't be loaning Travis and possibly Wharton if we aren't going to another centre half. I see Travis has third/fourth choice centre midfield and someone who will be involve in lots of games. 

I think you are right about signings not being solely from that age bracket tho I expect most will be. will give pace and movement in terms of wingers we need.

Cadden is the wing back and Campbell is a central midfielder 21 and 19 year olds Cadden scored against England under 21 team both quality players worth buying for any championship teams good investments

I will watch the first half and see if they are any good then?

All 4 are in need of some regular football further down the pyramid, none are ready to suddenly become regulars, nor do they need a season too many stagnating in the under 23s.

Get them loaned out, as its not as if our current team or the signings he seems to be aiming to sign are over the hill, and then hopefully they can come back and be much closer to the first team.
