Chapman is a great option to bring on as teams tire late in the game. Maybe that all he is, if it is then so be it. But he has tremendous upside and potential for a lot more 6 Quote

Too right, we might have played half a season of great football and maybe he'd have got us out the mess in October that got him sacked but by the lord he certainly contributed a fair bit of damage that took a few years to sort and a lot of Jacks personal fortune. Some cheap foreign tosh and some astronomically overpriced English/Welsh/Scottish trash he brought in he clearly had no idea of the British market at the time. Maybe if he'd been allowed to spend big on foreign players like he was used to it would have worked out better. Two he got right in Henchoz and Perez we probably never got the best out of, also to be fair Williams was new to the job back then and didn't really know his arse from his elbow. Quote
