Is this more of a development squad signing or is he expected to be in the first team? Quote

By the sounds of the post on the Rovers site it doesn’t really give much away apart from calling him a highly-rated youngster alongside Candlin. I’d think he’ll be in the u23s looking to push on the same as Candlin is expected to? Never heard of him/seen him play before so he could go straight in the first team squad for all I know! Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 He is 21 with a lot of first team games and 4 Europa league games. Be interesting to see where he ends up. Centre midfielder too. Can't wait til next season where we play the 1-9-1 formation 2 Quote

Wigan loaned Max Power back to Sunderland. After all the midfielders we signed, we probably could have done the same with Smallwood. He is great for a scrap, but you need more in your locker for the Championship than getting around and nicking it off the oppositions toes. In fairness to Evans, he does contribute more when on song. He is better with the ball and reads the game better than Smallwood. Positive news that Devenport is fit. Although I don't see why Rothwell can't play there 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted September 4, 2018 Backroom Posted September 4, 2018 Not sure about this one, can’t ever remember a Brad being successful here Quote
Pedro Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 Very nervous about this one. The last lion to pull on a Rovers shirt brought us a lot of bad publicity. 1 Quote
