If true we rejected a 15million bid for Dack then further proof that the club is starting to be looked after properly. Although maybe short in one or 2 areas going off what Mogga said that's down to clubs not willing to deal.Been a fantastic window in my opinion I think things are very different this summer. Football men on the ground making sensible decisions with the clubs interest at heart. 1 Quote

Ruthless https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/august/whittingham-departs-rovers/ With this plus Caddis and the unfortunate Samuel it’s hard to see a weak link in the side right now. Which in itself is a great sign of intent and looks like some real planning for the future is going on! The knives will be out for Joe Nuttall though. Unless that’s why we bought Rodwell... 1 Quote

I think there is some mental thing going on with him , maybe depression or something like that. It seems the info been given out is very sensitive and with Caddis and Whittinngham being released, it would make no sense that Gladwin hasn't. Unless there is something pretty serious going on with him. Just speculation of course Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Strange paying off Whittingham. Why now? Surely can't be much difference between paying him off now or letting his contract run down. It's not like it's freeing up an extra loan place or anything. Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Shame we never got to see the whittingham that was so good at Cardiff. Was honestly like a 10% of that player Quote

Ruthless https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/august/whittingham-departs-rovers/ We need to be. Whitts wasn't contributing to the team and has many players infront of him in the queue for a starting place. When we signed him, i thought he would be a good player for us, shame it didn't work out. Doing it now, means we probably paid at most 50% of next years contract. It means he can go and find a club where he may get a few more years. It's win/win at this point Quote

Lancaster Rover Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 But Ben Gladwin said Ben Gladwin is better than Bradley Dack, so surely West Brom should be bidding for him? 25 million I reckon seems fair? 4 Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Thing is with gladwin, I know he hasn’t exactly shone but none of us really know what he can offer as we just haven’t seen him. Might be a player there somewhere 2 Quote

AdamRochina Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 As I expected it's been quite on incomings , love the outgoings though Quote
Lancaster Rover Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 I particularly enjoyed him coming back in after a few games and bleaching his hair, like we'd forget who he was. Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Not going to make him a scapegoat, if he stays and plays he gets my support Quote

FGS5635 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Takes a brave manager, confident in what he is doing to admit some of his signings didnt work out and have them paid off. Many would keep plugging away with them so they didnt look bad. Fair play to TM 3 Quote

Bbrovers2288 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Don’t see why he wouldn’t get some minutes if he was fit, big lad to throw up for corners if we are chasing a goal. One of mowbrays failings is not going gung ho enough when we need a last min goal Quote
tomphil Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 We took Gladwin from QPR who've been paying daft wages so it might cost too much to bin him off he seems the type to sit on a contract. TM's a bit fortunate here being able to correct his mistakes but that's a fair reward for sealing promotion. Quote
OJRovers Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Left foot, right foot, headers, pace... could be a big player for us this season: Quote
