Ossydave Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Do people ever read or listen to Mowbrays interviews? He's explained, with logic, why Rodwell wouldn't be playing tonight. 1 Quote

Exiled in Toronto Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Have I wandered onto the Brentford thread by mistake?? “Dreadful team”, Woeful lack of depth”, “shit bench”.... Mogga said he’d pick a team he thought could do the job, so I’ll give him the benefit till 7.55 Caddis in shop window imo. Quote

If that’s beneath him then he hasn’t got the right attitude. Many a better player has had to do the same. He had a pre season with Watford and was training at Everton before coming to us and if he needs games to get up to match fitness why not play him tonight? 1 Quote
gumboots Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Not able to get there tonight after all. My husbands minor op turned out to be a bit more than we expected and he was advised not to go out tonight. Quote
chemosabby Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 i've seen worse line ups. Good bench if needed. Fancy we,ll have enough to get through,if not comfortably,by a couple of goals in the end. i,m optimistic. Quote

yeti-dog Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Be great to go through but ultimately if resting some regulars gets us a result against Bristol City then I can live with that team tonight. Quote

HowieFive0 Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 A bit of wriggle room playing Graham tonight with only a subs appearance on Saturday and the Bristol C game now on a Sunday. Wont play the full 90 tonight as well. Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Great to see Nuttall on the scoresheet at long last it might give him some much needed confidence. Quote

That said, that team might do well to win. Dont understand Reed and in particular Rodwells absence. If they have been training surely the antidote to lack of match fitness is to play them? Reed been here since yesterday. Has he even done more than 1 training session with players? Wont understand Mowbray's tactics either. Has many sessions has Rodwell had? Quote

Might have been taken as if it wasn’t someone with a history of giving me nasty abuse. On the glass half full side, bright start for Rovers. Early goal smartly taken by Nuttall. Strange formation is a bit odd though. Caddis is an enigma though - and not in a good way. Couple of half chances but nothing yet troubling from a subdued Lincoln. Not (yet) the league-leading-cup-running side I was expecting to see. Quote

blueboy3333 Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 Are there many on? Can't say I fancied it. Pleased for Nuttigol. Simon Grayson will be a proud father tonight. Quote
blueboy3333 Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 On that note how many Father and Sons have played for Rovers? Quote

Come on I like Mowbray but his tactics are hardly revolutionary are they, I'm sure any decent players who has played in the Championship and premier league as Reed has could soon pick them up. And we aren't playing our normal tactics anyway. Also what difference does it make how many sessions Rodwell has had he needs match fitness and the best way to get that is playing matches. Quote

Come off it Stuart - it was a joke and I've never been accused on here of directing 'nasty abuse' at you so let's not go there. Enjoy the game... Quote
