rigger Posted October 27, 2018 Posted October 27, 2018 (edited) If we where to lose Dack but sign Reed I would not be devastated. If we could have both I would be extatic. Edited October 28, 2018 by rigger 1 Quote

Whereas Reed just seems to make the whole team tick. Yesterday he was everywhere making things happen, stopping their attacks, and the goal wasn't bad! Edited October 28, 2018 by rigger 1 Quote
Boroblue Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Reed is just a whole round better professional. This is just personal preference as I believe Dack is going to go on to be a top drawer player, however Reed is my type of player and as rigger says has the ability to make a team tick. Preference keep both. Quote

Fair enough, but if Dack goes Reed won't replace his goals. We need both, not either/or. I'd be gutted if Dack left in Jan, even if we signed Reed permanently. Unless we signed another No.10 who could give us 15 goals a season. 3 Quote

I totally agree that we should do our upmost to keep both. What I said is that I personally would be more disappointed for the team, if we where not to sign Reed, than if we where to sell Dack. Quote
Darwen Rover 007 Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Perhaps we could have used that £7m better?? ? Quote

So if Mogga could only buy Reed by selling Dack you think that would be better for the team? Quote

JacknOry Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 Need to strike while the iron is hot in January, as if he keeps putting in these good performances others will be coming in or Southampton will decide to keep him. We all need to hope the they start winning a bit more. Quote
Stuart Posted December 18, 2018 Author Posted December 18, 2018 https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2018/december/a-z-harrison-reed/ This lad has to stay. “Fridge back”! 1 Quote
perthblue02 Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Liked his Man United answer - I support Manchester United. Being a southerner, that’s how it works! I’m a glory-hunter. I love the trophies. Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Nice down to earth lad by the sounds of it I would be delighted altogether if we sign him Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 18, 2018 Posted December 18, 2018 Talked about ‘home’ alot ie the south. Will take some persuasion I would imagine. 2 Quote

Ya, of course his main goal would be to break into the Southampton team. You look at their midfield though and there are a few big money buys there. Quote
Butty Posted December 20, 2018 Posted December 20, 2018 If there was a way we could back out of the BB deal and use that money to buy Reed permenantly it would be the dream scenario, if only. This lad is a class act. 4 Quote

Mattyblue Posted January 27, 2019 Posted January 27, 2019 (edited) He got a rousing reception from the fans yesterday. Even the JW upper were giving the ‘REEDY REEDY’ chant some welly. He seemed to really appreciate it when he was waking off after being subbed. Ewood loves a grafter, and this lad can play as well. Edited January 27, 2019 by Mattyblue Quote

I think we're only going to be a fallback option for him by the end of summer. Think he'd potentially be a very astute signing for a lower-half top flight club. Even so, I'd expect in the end that he'll have to settle for a Championship club. It's good that it looks like he's enjoying it here, beause next time they'll be queueing up for him. Quote
