Admiral Nelsen Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Struggling to pick a side for this one. Even if Reed & Brereton will need to be patient to begin with, there'll still be some very unlucky players on the bench. Assuming Dack & Armstrong are fit, I'd go with: Raya Nyambe Lenihan Mulgrew Bell Smallwood Evans Bennett Dack Palmer Armstrong Subs: Canadian, Graham, Brereton, Rothwell, Reed, Travis, Downing All of a sudden, that's some squad! MarkBRFC Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 I have a feeling Mowbray will leave out Dack & Armstrong, gives them another couple of weeks then to get to 100%. Could see Reed going straight in for Evans if he's not right. Front four of Bennett, Rothwell, Palmer & Graham. Brereton on the bench. Quote

Bigdoggsteel Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 A typical Rovers under Mowbray hard fought 0-1 away win I don't think Dack will start either. The amazing thing is that I am not even that worried if he doesn't Quote
Lancaster Rover Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Can't see Dack being risked, Mowbray has been very non committal in his interviews about him featuring. Give him the international break to get fully fit and have him raring to go when we return. Quote
tomphil Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Evan rested for International duty ? Anyone having a quid on it ? Quote
Colt Seavers Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 My apologies if this has been posted already but the match is apparently being streamed by Bristol for a tenner. Quote
Mattyblue Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) Will it not be on Rovers’ ifollow in the UK as it isn’t a Saturday 3pm or on Sky? Edited August 30, 2018 by Mattyblue Quote
Stuart Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 It’s not on Sky. It’s more important that they show Rangers v Celtic on TWO channels simultaneously followed by Cardiff v Arsenal ALSO on two channels simultaneously! Quote
Mattyblue Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 (edited) I know, ergo it will be on UK ifollow... Edited August 30, 2018 by Mattyblue Quote

Ossydave Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 Monday booked off work now so looking forward to it big time. I've said it past few games (got scoffed or by a few), but once again nothing to fear going into this game. 2-1 Rovers Quote
JHRover Posted August 30, 2018 Posted August 30, 2018 2-2 We'll fall behind quite early, respond well, equalise before half time, go ahead but then concede an equaliser late on. Quote

OJRovers Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 I don't think Dack/Armstrong will be risked. I think we'll rotate the 3 behind Graham like we did against Brentford. Benno/Palmer/Rothwell switching between the left, middle and right support players. Raya Nyambe-Lenni-Mulgrew-Bell Evans-Smallwood Palmer-Bennett-Rothwell Graham Set out the stall not to lose. Maybe Armstrong coming off the bench. Quote
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Surely Big Ben will play some part in the game especially if Dack and Armstrong are out. Quote
JHRover Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Impressive following that for a Sunday lunchtime. 1 Quote
roversfan99 Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 No Armstrong or Dack that I could see in the training pictures earlier. Can't see them featuring. Quote

Mattyblue Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 So all non 3pm Saturday games are on Sky then? If that’s the case, so will Leeds and PNE at home, as they are 12pm KO’s. Not sure Waggott thought about that when agreeing to the early KOs... Quote

I bet he did because I bet the Sky money for the red button is greater than the approx. 1k extra fans he'd have on without it being on tele. Quote
