philipl Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 If like me you wondered what the heck happened to sports coverage on Twitter and Rovers matches in particular, the rapacious fascist supporting fools aka Jack Dorsey changed the algorithm so tweets no longer appear chronologically. Apart from this change totally screwing all the poor folk in the States about to be flattened by Hurricane Florence, it also totally destroys live sports coverage and banter. BUT, you can get: Your Twitter timeline in true chronological order—without retweets, liked tweets, or any algorithm nonsense. Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted September 12, 2018 Moderation Lead Posted September 12, 2018 Facebook has done this as well. Very annoying. Quote
gumboots Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 It's worse on twitter than Facebook as you get team selection quite often after you get the result of the match 2 Quote
toogs Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 For me it's not worth the effort - I'm done with twitter. It has turned poisonous and very depressing. Quote
gumboots Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 I never tweet. Just follow a handful of people and skim read every few days. Not how it's meant to work I know but I've no desire to get into the nasty side of things Quote
davulsukur Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 (edited) Goto: settings and privacy Content preferences uncheck “show the best tweets first” i think that works? edit: it didn’t. Edited September 13, 2018 by davulsukur Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Instagram is good. If I log on at anytime between 2pm and 3pm on match day, the top result will always be the starting line-up from the official Rovers account Quote
Dreams of 1995 Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Why have they done this? I don't see the purpose in not ordering something chronologically............... surely a function where you can switch how you want to order it is better than a worse compulsory method? Quote

Mattyblue Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 Hasn’t Twitter been like this for a couple of years or so? Quote
davulsukur Posted September 14, 2018 Posted September 14, 2018 ??♂️ I feel like my Twitter was in chronological order until Phillip mentioned it and then it broke. Quote
philipl Posted September 16, 2018 Author Posted September 16, 2018 Woohee, we are leading 1-0. Dack scored. Quote
