Swanson Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Did Raya save that header from Crouch or did it just hit someone? Could not see it. Quote

bluefred Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Ehh don’t forget we didn’t have mulgrew today which makes it an even better result Quote
The Big Picture Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 They were two divs above us last season plus at home. Ok a mad last ten but a brilliant first 80! Well done TM!! 2 Quote
Exiled in Toronto Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 As soon as Dack missed I thought here we go, Boxing Day 1977 all over again, and it bloody was except even more heart-stopping with the penalty. Three well taken goals, two sublime assists from Bennett, an unbelievable save from Raya. 110% effort from everyone. Only disappointment for me was Bell swinging and missing at the back post for their second. 1 Quote
tonyoz Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Amazing match! The crossbar has been MoM a few times this season. In the first half we looked like a real team. After Dack’s miss we fell apart. Still a lot to learn. Quote

West Yorks Rover Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 No team running away with this league, 2 points per game the best anyone can do atm. I reckon West Brom will win it, with their forward power. 1 Quote
Mr. E Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 that full time whistle ...like ice cold milk after a ghost pepper 3 Quote
philipl Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Fantastic game. Rovers on the front foot from first whistle and we played really well both halves. Magnificent performance by the team and all players individually. I still cannot believe the Raya save from Crouch. Quote
old darwen blue Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 I listened on Radio Lancs and bloody hell, those 1800 fans of ours sounded like 5000! Good effort! 4 Quote

Bigdoggsteel Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Saw we were 0-2 up at half time. Said I won't check now til the game is over because chances are it will be 1-2 when I check and then I will just have to keep checking. So when I clicked on at 16.47 it was 2-3 and my app told me Stoke had just won a penalty. Oh Rovers. Never boring Quote
DeeCee Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Having kittens watching it on Final Score/Gillette Soccer Saturday, must have been a nightmare watching it live! Quote
chaddyrovers Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Great win and we deserve to win overall. We got sloppy for 5 win and it cost.. Mowbray got his starting 11 right. Great day out.. Tony Mowbray's blue and white army ? Quote
The Gull Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 We played very well for 3/4’s of that game, Stoke were always going to have a spell and they took their chances almost as well as we did, the Crouch header and pen almost outdoing Dack’s failed attempt in the second half, great result from in the end! This league is so tight, 5 points separate top half of the table, the Ipswich and Villa late goals have cost us being joint top! Madness. Quote
FGS5635 Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 The last 15mins was mental, but it shouldnt detract from what was a ruthless first 75. Great energy, workrate and controlled agression. 2 Quote
