Just  found out, genuinely gutted  , Met him a couple of times genuinely nice bloke and fantastic lyric writer .  

Seen Buzzcocks more times than any other band, alas no more

Saw Buzzcocks at Manchester Academy. Great band.

Saw them at KGH back in the late 70s. He was being a bit petulant that night because of a few beer mats getting thrown at him (I did think at the time “it could be worse Pete”) but nonetheless it was a great gig, and as ODB says, his was one of the voices of our youth along with Weller, Strummer, Lydon et al.

I saw them at Rebellion Festival in Blackpool in 2016 (the infamous 3-0 down to Norwich after '30 seconds' weekend incident)

You gotta try and see the classics before they snuff it.

£40 to see The Specials next year? Hmmm . . . .

Saw the buzcocks at king George’s hall. His  best line of the evening was just stop gobbing  or I’m off. At the time the London bands had the looks but we had the music.

I always thought billy bragg was a great song writer and he was great at king George hall
