Swanson Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 I can't stand to see Smallwood starting for Rovers again, he is so limited and poor. 1 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 (edited) 1-0 FT. Getting sick and fecking tired of this inside forward sh!t TM persists with. Armstrong, Brereton, Reed etc aren’t the bloody answer there Tony. Our home form really is gash despite the lack of losses. Where will our next win come from? Answers on a postcard. Surely we don’t have to give Forest £6m for him!! Gives the impression he does not want to be here...seen nothing from him to justify anywhere near a 7 Million price tag!!! Awful result, could be a bleak Christmas. Edited December 22, 2018 by SIMON GARNERS 194 Quote

It's gonna be lonely this Christmas. Quote

jim mk2 Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Rubbish, Mowbray. If "this is where are are at" (his words) then perhaps he should let someone else have a go. Quote

The pressure will start to build big time if as expected we don’t get anything until then. Lambert will have his boys pumped for that one too. Edited December 22, 2018 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
davefarnworth Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Terrible manager. Agree with Jim. Third division side. Just think if the billionaire owners realised how easy it would be to get back to the gravy train from this overrated league 1 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted December 22, 2018 Backroom Posted December 22, 2018 Beginning to tumble down the league now. This result isn't necessarily a surprise as Norwich are far superior to us in every respect, but points thrown away against poorer teams are making the second half of the season look increasingly daunting. Another goal conceded near the end of a match as well. Quote
Reedy You're A Star Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Very unfortunate to come away with nothing here. Momentum was lost when Palmer came on. We seem to just lose a bit of bite in midfield. Then lost more when the very ineffective Brerton came on. Didn't see anything from this latest cameo to suggest he's even remotely a £7m talent. Or ever will be. Raya, Reed and Nyambe were excellent today. Thought Bell did better too. 2 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Another late goal conceded btw... Quote

Thought Graham was our MOM today, granted didn't score but hold up play was excellent Feel sorry for Brereton, maybe what he needs is to play alongside graham for a few games in a position he his familiar with , scrap the one up top three behind stuff Edited December 22, 2018 by perthblue02 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted December 22, 2018 Backroom Posted December 22, 2018 Palmer was pretty poor when he came on then Brereton came on and made him look like Pele. If we had signed Brereton on a free toy would have had concerns that we paid too much. Without exaggeration every time he got the ball he messed it up today, no strength like a lanky newborn lamb. Abysmal! Result aside a good watch, Bell was much more like the player we saw on his debut and Reed is brilliant. Not a bad result to say we were missing Dack.....what do you mean Dack played? Quote
Tom Stinny Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 I'd love a manager like the guy at Sheffield United. He may come across as a knob but he keeps it simple and is efficient. The manager we have at the moment wants to play Pep football and formations on low championship wages. Two decent quick wingers and the games become much simpler. I personally don't feel massive loyalty to the guy and if we come close to the bottom 3 I would hope some boots up arses are handed it. It's to comfy comfy at this club. Perform well or pack your bags. Both players and staff. Quote

No team can expect to hold on under those circumstances. What's wrong with Rothwell and even Rodwell? Are they terrible at locker room banter or what? Quote

Whenever we’ve gone on a bad run, TM tends to throw in a curveball. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them both randomly starting against Leeds along with a farewell performance from Palmer. Reedy You're A Star Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 No idea. Either of those 2 on instead of Palmer would've kept us going in the Norwich players' faces and kept the pressure up. Instead we kept giving back to them and they kept coming at us. We all know we don't cope well in those circumstances. Send him back in January. Definitely not what we need in the Championship. Quote
bluefred Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Palmer is another one who shouldn’t be here , costs us to many points Quote
bluefred Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 He’s just a show pony which is fine if your 3-0 up Quote
Backroom Tom Posted December 22, 2018 Backroom Posted December 22, 2018 I think today was a last chance for Palmer in Mowbrays book and he didn’t take it, his heart or head just isn’t in it. 2 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 (edited) Didn’t realise quite how bad our form is - 1 win in 7. With Leeds, Sheff Utd and West Brom to come that could well be 1 in 10. TM could be getting a call from blingy come mid-Jan at this rate. Edited December 22, 2018 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
benhben Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Sadly the league table now probably reflects what our performances have deserved this season. I wouldn't say we are any better or worse now than when Mowbray took over. Our best player is also on loan More worryingly is Dack seems to have completely gone off it Quote
bluefred Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Hope there is a serious bid in for dack as we need the money to overall this team 2 Quote
