Fraserkirky Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 (edited) Charlie’s legs have gone. Looks like a 45 year old after 70mins Edited December 29, 2018 by Fraserkirky Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 (edited) Just now, Stuart said: Mowbray made the unnecessary changes and it’s been an implosion ever since. He’s lost the plot. He makes changes every single match - usually 3-5. The better teams have consistency in their selection. Yet again not rocket science but it appears to be for our Ton. Stuart Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 This is what we are up against though. Our own fans. The kind of people who can’t even spell ‘queue’ let alone ‘cue’. Quote

Bigdoggsteel Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 I'm not able to watch the game but can someone tell me how we went from playing with an extra man at 0-0 to losing 3-0? Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 (edited) Done eff all as an attacking sense apart from Charlie’s free kicks. If it wasn’t for set pieces this season we’d probably be in the relegation zone by some distance. Edited December 29, 2018 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote

Depends if we wanted to go for a win, played well for 70 mins but imo not a cat in hells chance of a goal coming. Dack a spark of creativity , rather Graham on than Armstrong but still an attacking threat. Palmer had played well but on a yellow, Brererton did ok but didnt look like scoring. The sending off changed the game not the substitutions in my opinion Quote
jim mk2 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 One bright spot today - Wolves winning 3-1 at Spuds. Any consolation in a crisis 1 Quote
BennyBennyson Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Dont understand why Mowbray has gone and made 7 changes to try something new and yet still insists on picking Smallwood. We where hanging in till he went and got sent off Quote
Pedro Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Lenihan has developed into a terrible player. 1 Quote

AdamRochina Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 Idiots on the Facebook group all happy happy ..oh just wait for the negative brigade. Jesus Christ .. the team has like 2 wins in 12 ..can't defend for toffee and play turgid football .. but let's remain happy wheyy for rovers 1 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 We cant defend leads in 90th min. We cant even score against 10 men, We have no ideas how to attack 10 men even when we have 11 men. The mentality in the team is so wrong. Maybe Mowbray has been too nice. Thankfully that he came and steadied the ship. But i dont see him as the man to bring us to the next level. 1 Quote

LewisF Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 40 goals conceded in 25 games, joint-3rd worst defence in the league. Even Bolton have conceded 8 less than us Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted December 29, 2018 Posted December 29, 2018 I stand by mowbray did the right thing today regarding the line up. I haven't seen the game so no comment there but players had a chance today and blew it. Whether down to tactics, substitutions, player quality or desire to surrender like that is not acceptable. A loss was virtually inevitable , to lose by that margin something drastic is wrong. The manor we lose is more than worrying and I think the players have to shoulder the blame 1 Quote
