Admiral Nelsen Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Rafa giving his press conference for tomorrow. No Shelvey or Diame, could well be short in the middle of the park. With a 6 pointer with Cardiff on their minds too, I think these are there for the taking. 3 Quote

garnersfags Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Is this the Newcastle Replay Thread, or am I blind? Anyway, does anyone know how many tickets we've allegedly sold? Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Going down for my ticket in the morning. Still can't imagine this is much of a priority for Newcastle and really really hope we win this one after the way the first game went. N.B. It clearly states on the website that tickets bought after 5 p.m. are £20 before anyone starts moaning about it. Quote
Oldgregg86 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Really looking forward to this. Got a ticket in the jwu why I can afford it for a different perspective. Do you take your own prawn sandwiches or are they readily available ? 1 Quote
@roverseas Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Big opportunity for Rovers tomorrow as we welcome Premier League Newcastle United. Rovers seemed to have kicked on from our dogged festive schedule. Should be able to play with our pressure and freedom as Rafa and the Toon will be under the microscope. Hoping we can kick on from Saturday and give the Rovers fans something to be happy about. Match build up and more, 1 Quote
blueboy3333 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 This possibly needs to be re-pinned. Anyway, 2-1 Rovers and a date with Elton's hornets in the next round. Att: 12,409 Quote
47er Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Today could be an historic day for our country. (There's a lot going on in parliament as well!) Quote

I’m far more optimistic about the football. I’m putting my jinx on it - we are going to put on a bit of a show for the cameras and run out as comfortable winners. philipl Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Feeling really excited about this game (and Hull in ten days' time). Chance to measure ourselves again. Just wish there were going to be a monster crowd. Quote
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 I'm hoping for a proper performance and a good win tonight but has I said a while ago we have a habit of getting good draws away only to play like drains in the replay. Come on Rovers, prove me wrong. Quote
rog of the rovers Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Really looking forward to tonight. Hope we put out our best team and progress. I think the crowd will be decent too, I expect anywhere from 15-20k Quote

Probably be around 11-12k on. Quote
Mattyblue Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Had a look at the planner before, we’ve shifted a fair few since this time yesterday. Jack Walker upper and BBEnd particularly. Quote
SBlue Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 If Mulgrew is still out I'd be happy with Raya Nyambe Lenihan Rodwell Bell Evans Travis Reed Dack Armstrong Nuttall In an ideal world, drop Evans, Reed to CM and Benno on the right. Graham to come on in the last 20 mins to shore up the 3-0 Quote

BlackburnEnd75 Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Think Evans and Mulgrew won't be risked. I'd go Raya Nyambe Lenihan Rodwell Bell Bennett Reed Travis Armstrong Dack Graham Subs: Leutwiler, Grayson, Smallwood, Rothwell, Butterworth, Brereton, Nuttall. 2 Quote

Wouldn't be against having Smallwood in somewhere, given he's had the last few weeks off, but I'd be more than happy with that. Quote
philipl Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Benitez talking down Newcastle- https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/46790119 Beware! Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Just been to get my ticket.A few in purchasing for tonight. Currently 10 k Rovers tickets sold, just less than 2k Newcastle but obviously we may sell some more today. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 15, 2019 Backroom Posted January 15, 2019 Feeling positive about tonight, think we’ll win it! Travis to get a couple of early crunchers in and they won’t fancy it Tempted to get a ticket but will be half time at the earliest I could get there, may be extra time though... Quote

I think Tony will bring him straight back in as he's fresh and he loves him. That would shunt Reed back out to the wing. I'd love to see Reed and Travis play together in centre mid. 1 Quote
