Husky Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Anyone can see their left back is struggling. Get the ball up there. I'm not saying anything about our Ben though. Quote

Gone to seed Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 That big lad who just went off for the Toon - sums up the modern 'professional' player: completely disinterested in the fans, his colleagues, the manager. Total attitude black hole. If that is the level of morale at Toon, we should be able to harry them off the pitch.... Quote
DeeCee Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) For anyone without BT sport or at the game there's text commentary and clips of the goals on BBC sport website Edited January 15, 2019 by DeeCee Quote
johnradfordsubbuteo Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 mind you I though lenahan fouled his marker for the goal.climbing for me. Quote
davulsukur Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Odd decision by Rafa, isn't Lascelles their captain and best CB? Surely they needed him for the Cardiff game more than this one? Quote
AdamRochina Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Newcastle denied a clear penalty too Quote
rock steady Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 at least ref is consistent(ly) bad at giving penalties Quote
Ewood Ace Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Why does Smallwood take set pieces? Get Reed on them. Quote
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Amazing how they mention follow through from Lenihan- but not the challenge on Brereton after he had shot. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 15, 2019 Backroom Posted January 15, 2019 Enough experimenting, Tony should be on the phone to a few league one clubs tomorrow to look into taking Brereton on loan 1 Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Surely someone on the pitch can take a better set piece than Smallwood Quote

Ewood Ace Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Another pitiful display from Brereton. Quote
Backroom DE. Posted January 15, 2019 Backroom Posted January 15, 2019 Another chance not taken for Brereton. Time for him to step away from the first team, whether it's with the U23's or on loan. He's not ready yet and we can't afford passengers in the team. 3 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 (edited) Brereton needs shipping out to a League One club or have a spell with our under 23s. He ain’t up to it at the moment. Edited January 15, 2019 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote

I want it to work out for him so badly, but I’m leaning towards this viewpoint now sadly. Obviously, I’m not writing him off, but I think he needs to be taken out of the firing line for the time being. 2 Quote
Husky Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Mowbray is terrible. Fancy not giving his son the full game. Tuts. Quote
davulsukur Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Another no show from BB. Even when Rodwell plays, you can see there is a player in there, with BB you see nothing at all that suggests he'll be a decent player. Quote
OJRovers Posted January 15, 2019 Posted January 15, 2019 Brereton should be nowhere near the first team. If he's not going to play U23 then he needs loaning out to league 1. Would anyone take him?? Quote
