tomphil Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Think we might get thumped today from a couple of set piece goals that defence scares the bejesus out of me ! 1 Quote

blueboy3333 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Lets see what Nuttall can do. Good to see Travis keep his place. Rodwell IMO is a liability. 2 Quote

philipl Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Let's see the team spirit at work because that defence is going to need it. 1 Quote
Stuart Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 What was the kid called who’s bedroom window overlooked Brockhall and who’s dad went mad after Bowyer complained of leaks? Is that you “Madon”? Quote

Ewood Ace Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Too many players out of position for my liking. Downing is a better centre back than Rodwell and Nyambe is a better full back than Bennett. That starting 11 and bench looks very light on defenders (do we really need 4 strikers on the bench)? Just 12 Leagues goals from our starting 11, 10 for Dack, 2 for Reed and 0 for the other 9 1 Quote
Admiral Nelsen Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Wonder what, if anything we can read into this? Mulgrew is clearly fitness, but does this reflect keeping some powder dry for the FA cup? Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 (edited) Not a fan of that side. There’s zero pace and the only creativity we have is Dack. Also would not be starting Bennett at RB - a little like Smallwood for me in that TM shoe-horns him in no matter what. Rodwell owes a performance at CB. And while he’s doing the business for the under 23s - bring Nuttal on for Graham, don’t start him at his expense. Edited January 12, 2019 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 12, 2019 Backroom Posted January 12, 2019 (edited) Poor Joe rothwell, can’t even have a bold surname I wouldn’t be playing Conway but the good news is I’m clueless so he’ll have another worldie Edited January 12, 2019 by Tom Quote
perthblue02 Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Rich Sharpe @richsharpe89 6m6 minutes ago More Paul Downing did travel with the #Rovers squad, but not involved in the matchday 18. Maybe he's signing for Millwall and he wanted a lift ? Quote
Al Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Why is Graham on the bench? If he's fit enough for the bench he's fit enough to start. 1 Quote

Backroom Madon Posted January 12, 2019 Backroom Posted January 12, 2019 Downing is signing for Pompey next week.. maybe he did just catch a lift! Quote

A wild theory: Bring Graham on after 70 minutes to make us more resilient in the last 20 minutes? (Or rest him if we are already 4-0 down) Quote
Backroom Tom Posted January 12, 2019 Backroom Posted January 12, 2019 Nowt against Nuttall as he’ll feel he’s earned a crack but we’ve just spent £7m on a striker, if our main one isn’t playing then surely you play that lad in his preferred role? I’m sure Mowbray wasn’t planning on spending £7m on someone who Nuttall would be in front of 1 Quote

Exiled_Rover Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Bloody hell, Nuttall is a League 2 player. How bad is Brereton?! Quote
