RevidgeBlue Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 At least Dick Turpin wore a mask. Doesn't change the fact we've been awful or that playing like this is unsustainable imo in the long run. Hope TM doesn't see the scoreline as an endorsement for lining up with 2 attacking players. Quote
Ewood Ace Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Reed been much better in central midfield. Him and Travis is by far our best pairing let's just hope Mowbray can see it. 5 Quote

Pedro Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Blackburn winning - take Graham off = Blackburn don't win. Blackburn not winning, bring Graham on = Blackburn win. Simple. 8 Quote

Starting you mean? When we have DG, AA and Nuttall with Travis driving forwards, we score Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Absolutely terrible match and somewhat of a smash and grab but a wins a win. Need to line-up more attacking against ipswich and actually have a go at sides. Shout outs to Lenihan and Rodwell who were absolutely immense. 1 Quote

Not tonight Rev. Delighted with three points. The big question this evening is: is Dack now holding us back? Followed closely by: can he step up again? Quote

In the main, think our football has been pi $$ poor under Mowbray. The BB deal gets more mystifying by each match. Only good news is takeaway's arrived - need another red opening. In-game hysteria is never the best idea at 0-0. I didn't watch it so you might be right about it being shyte. The home fixture was too. However, a 2-0 win down there though is a cracking result. 2 Quote

Husky Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 That brings Millwall level with us on goals conceded after 75mins. 18-18 ? Quote

Mr. E Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Well how about that! Game was atrocious for 85 minutes but then the chips fell in our favor. Nutell didn't do too much today but he was there where we needed him, I think he needs to be ahead of Brereton. Armstrong produced that hard edge finish we know he's capable of but has eluded him so much this season. Those two minutes decided everything. Quote
Miker Posted January 12, 2019 Posted January 12, 2019 Fantastic win - to score 2 goals in quick succession late on to secure all 3 points must be a major morale boost for the whole squad. Given how many times we’ve been on the other end of late goals ourselves this season. Millwall’s hoofball made it a really awful game to watch. Other than our 2 goals not a lot else happened of note all game. On another note, I’ve personally given up on Bell. He was dreadful today and I rarely see him do well. A new left back is priority for me. Quote
