Age, injuries and he found his level in League One.  Like several people have said a hundred times, CB should have been the number one transfer priority over everything else - last summer, but more than ever in January.  Letting Downing go was stupid.  Rodwell is no more a CB than Armstrong is.  Lenihan is too inconsistent.  Williams isn’t even a footballer.   I’m sure a couple of the U23 lads couldn’t do worse than this shower.

He isn’t great but he can cross, can’t think of anyone on our team who is actually good at it. He put in a great cross in the first half and I’m pretty sure he has a few assists with crosses this season with dack getting on a few. Pretty sure

If this game has shown tony anything it’s that we’re better with 10 men than with 11 including Williams.
