I know perhaps they didn't have to get out of 2nd gear (though they would have deserved to lose 2pts if Dack hadn't hit it straight at the keeper). But Boro look decidedly average. Quote

West Yorks Rover Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Thank God we were only playing Boro today, Sheffield Utd would have put 8 past us. 1 Quote

neophox Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 To be fair Williams foul was not a red card... and Mulgrew had a bad game. Quote
neophox Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Think Jokanovic or Wagner would lift this team. Quote

blueboy3333 Posted February 17, 2019 Author Posted February 17, 2019 Tony just said he didn't recognise the team. Cheeky sod. We play like that most weeks! 1 Quote

How on earth can you say it’s not a red? Not seen a replay but looked so obvious live, if it’s a foul it’s a red Edited February 17, 2019 by Tom 2 Quote

matt83 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 I wouldn’t have sent Williams off for what he did. But if I was a referee as a rovers fan I’d look to send him off at every opportunity to benefit the team. 1 Quote
Backroom Tom Posted February 17, 2019 Backroom Posted February 17, 2019 Chaddy says Pulis is drab and shocking, his team just battered Tony’s having 26 shots to our 5 in the process! 4 Quote

neophox Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Mowbrays contracts until 2022 so would be expensive getting rid. Quote

SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 (edited) I can't explain or except that first half performance...our players again didn't look up for it.Where is the desire and urgency, the Arte Et Labore? Half of this side needs to be moved on in the Summer, its as simple as that. Not good enough to take us to even the playoffs in this Division..nowhere near good enough. Get your hands in your pockets Venkys, you have some serious spending to do. Edited February 17, 2019 by SIMON GARNERS 194 1 Quote

Backroom DE. Posted February 17, 2019 Backroom Posted February 17, 2019 Thankfully didn't see the game but am I to assume we're back to Evans Mk I now he's got his new contract? Notice he was hooked at HT. 1 Quote

Maybe he's finally losing the dressing room after all his tinkering, most players don't like being constantly played out of position, it makes them look poorer footballers and the crowd get on their backs. Of course there are some players who can play almost anywhere, I remember Paul Madeley for that great Leeds team of the 60s/70s the Engand lad who plays for Liverpool is similar, but most don't like it. 4 Quote

Miller11 Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 It’s time for Balaji or Suhail to dust off the address book and give every agent in there a bell. We need the names of every unattached centre back out there. Not midfielders who can slot in, proper centre backs. And we need to get one in ASAP. 1 Quote

I imagine Bell must be wondering what he did wrong to be replaced by the walking disaster that is Derrick Williams. 7 Quote
