At this stage, I agree. But we'll be back here next summer putting the same effort into replacing all these loans, and not have any players to trade on for profit.

TM didn't seem particularly keen on bringing in first team loans back in June, but if we brought in a CB and LB on loan we'd potentially be looking at 3 of our back 4 as loan deals... obviously not good for long term progression but would give TM some breathing room for a few months at least.

I really don't get this element of Mowbray's management.

He treats older players like they need to be protected and then drops bombs on younger players. Surely it should be the other way round

We cant even beat the promoted teams with the players he selected to start the game.. So he is becoming a bit delusional
