Yeah, that’s part of the reason he may want a left back so that Williams only ever has to play centre back.

Absolutely nothing in football surprises me anymore. I had to work for a living, I was in Oman for my Daughters birth and Yemen for the birth of one of my Sons. I wish I had been a footballer.

As far as we can tell, we aren't in for any CBs.

We seem to be using a Telegraph article which quoted TM as saying they had considered GH but were not pursuing it. 

Obv he's happy that GH is no better than Williams, or the wages are beyond our reach.
