rovers11 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I’m never convinced by Sharpe’s info, more guesswork from him I’d imagine. 3

BG1492 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Maybe he’s told Charlie he’s not guaranteed a starting spot now. Williams & Lenihan Saturday then ??

Venkys wont add to the wage bill. Hey presto look what happens. What about the Raya money again? Although I think Venkys are shit owners, I don't blame them for this, the squad is too large and we can't move anyone on because Mowbray gave too many new contracts out.He has spent 15 mill or so over last 12 month 9
iSeeRed Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) Honestly I'm not over the moon about Mulgrew leaving. It seems to be a mistake when we are so light at centre-half. Edited August 8, 2019 by iSeeRed 1

TruRover Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Would be v happy with Cunningham. However that won’t match my unhappiness if we don’t sign a cb, losing mulgrew is the right thing to do but not without a replacement!

Backroom DE. Posted August 8, 2019 Backroom Posted August 8, 2019 Mulgrew is a liability who costs us points every time he's on the pitch, and the stats from last season overwhelmingly back that up, but it would be the most Mowbray thing ever to let him go with no replacement. Evans or Smallwood will probably end up at CB. 7
Guest Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Can see some free agents coming this/next week. I’d take Cunningham and Alan Hutton in, and Mulgrew out. Hutton Lenihan Tosin Cunningham would be tolerable.
Ruaney Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I’m just flabbergasted. Don’t know what to do with myself

CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Everyone acting like this is done, I simply do not believe it. It'll be as you were within an hour. 1

Armchair supporter supremo Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) Dreary trucking me Mulgrew leaving, fine he's no good at all as cb in this league and doesn't have the legs to play anywhere else. letting him(and the few other cbs we've let go this summer) go without a good more tallented replacement is just poor idiocrcy and will lead to the end of the rd to the Mowbray reign. Ossydave Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 In fairness I'd rather have played Magloire than Mulgrew but now that's not an option fuck knows ? 3
Bigdoggsteel Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Mowbray can hardly say we won't win games with Magloire, but leave us with Grayson as back up. Can he? Can he.....?
neophox Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Almost EVERYONE here wanted Mulgrew out.. seems you get your wish as Venkys probably reading this board... 1
Bbrovers2288 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I’m not bothered about Mulgrew leaving but I still want another cb 3
Angry_Pirate Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Who is next behind Grayson in the CB pecking order? Asking for a friend.
islander200 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Bates signs for Wednesday...an awful lot of centre backs that would have improved us have moved clubs this summer We should have been in for David Marshall aswell
jim mk2 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Burnley sign Danny Drinkwater. That Dyche bloke seems quite promising.
