tomphil Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Wouldn't be surprised if he phases Reed out quite a bit now as chances are well stacked he won't be here next season, understandable I suppose but when you've decent talent here and still a chance of a good finish you should use it. To be fair to Mowbray Reed has looked a bit jaded recently. Quote
Sparks Rover Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Leutweiller must wonder what he bothers coming to work for.... 2 Quote
darrenrover Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Disappointed with the uninspiring line up, particularly Reed on the bench. If we're preparing for life without him, i'd have preferred to see one of our youngsters getting a start rather than the usual incumbents. With Mulgrew and Rodwell also starting as the central defensive pairing and their direct approach, I can't see past a defeat. Hope I'm wrong. COYB!! Quote
CD_93 Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 (edited) Oh give it a rest, Rovers. Up for this one then. Edited March 2, 2019 by CD_93 Quote
Guest Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 a long throw and a header. It's year 6 defending. Quote
Mr. E Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 choose your own adventure: 1-0 down 2 minutes in or last-minute goal 1 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 (edited) All effing week he bangs on about their long throws, 94 seconds in and we’re behind to one. It really is an effing shambles and I’m at a loss as to how some can still defend Mowbray’s ability to set us up defensively. Edited March 2, 2019 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
Gogger Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Good guy Mowbray lets Smallwood start this one too. We all have a chance to become profesional footballers, if we just try hard enough, no need for any abilities. Quote
AdamRochina Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Pathetic .it truly is . I haven't trusted mowbray for a long time and don't trust him with a summer window .. Smallwood starting is just another example of this plonker. Loyalty to shite players gets you no where Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 8 mins in and Smallwood is booked for a foul on Vaulks. Quote
Stuart Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 At this point TM has got a free pass. No pressure, no promotion expectation, not even play-off hopeful expectations. Already, after only 2 minutes, he needs the thing he has struggled to find in all his time with us: a Plan B. Quote

tomphil Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 He can bang the drum to them all he wants but until he the manager gets in a commanding centre half or two and/or a solid keeper this will carry on happening. Has all season, did last and the one before yet he seems to think it's just mental. Well if it is it's proven beyond doubt now some of these are too mentally fragile and that'll never alter. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted March 2, 2019 Backroom Posted March 2, 2019 Bonkers when in your presser you talk about long throws then totally fail at defending two in the opening minutes with one leading to a goal. Theyll play for throw ins now Quote
Reedy You're A Star Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 How the frig was that not a free kick on Dack? Quote
Backroom DE. Posted March 2, 2019 Backroom Posted March 2, 2019 We've for the time being taken over from Ipswich as the team who have conceded the most away goals in the championship. If Mowbray isn't embarrassed by that he certainly should be. Quote
