Conceding the pointless free kick was entirely his fault. After that it was whoever decided to give the biggest bloke on the pitch all the space he wanted. Quote

Which AGAIN begs the question...why Mr.Groundhog refused to strengthen the defence. Or just try Leutweiller...? Mowbray must really think he's shite, Quote
Roboftherovers82 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 I think it is time tony left we will not go down this season give Damien Johnson the role till end of the summer while we look for a replacement i cant see us staying up next season with this lot and tony in charge 2 Quote
RoversClitheroe Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Don't think we can blame the defence. We can blame Williams - time and time makes mistakes leaving us vulnerable. Mowbray too Quote
Doaksie Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Who is in charge of pulling the managerial trigger? They need to start having a serious think about next season and beyond. Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 (edited) We’re going to be treated to a belter of a Benno tweet after his first goal in donkeys years. Don’t worry about the 4 conceded though, Elliot - or the crap you’ve personally served up all season. Edited March 16, 2019 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Sigh, mowbray out. Same old same old. Getting the same feeling I had with kean and coyle, expecting defeats and the same mistakes from the same shyte players Quote

West Yorks Rover Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 How many will freescoring Villa get against this defence ? Quote
Stuart Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Nobbers with an injury time goal to win again. What a difference a manager can make. 2 Quote
AAK Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Wonder if Simon Smith will blame this defeat on the weather in his bullshit article in the telegraph next week. 2 Quote

Exiled in Toronto Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Four soft goals for God’s sake. The only sliver of hope is that today will be the last time I see Williams in a Rovers shirt. Quote

Joe Rothwell should be playing, Raya, Bennett and Williams should be nowhere near the first team. Manager needs to go I think. If he doesn't then he needs to massively sort out the defence but I just don't think he has the skill set to address it. Quote

Mowbray too They were all crap at the back and Evans and Travis kept handing the ball back to Sheff Wed time after time. We need some experience badly. Our lads are too nice and naive. I miss the days of arsey winners/grafters like Bellamy, Savage, Nelsen, Todd. Quote

He’s been sidelined for the odd match but comes back in time and again. Mowbray is as weak as a kitten when it comes to dishing out punishment. Quote
DavidMailsTightPerm Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Though not certain would make much difference - everyone seems to forget we have our three first choice centre backs out injured - against a team that is renowned for its power in the air. Quote
Bbrovers2288 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Mowbray sacked for the defence fiasco, late goals fiasco and the brereton fiasco. Need any more excuses? Not for me. Johnson in until end of the season and join the managerial merry go round come what may 1 Quote
West Yorks Rover Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 Weren't Preston about 12 points behind us not long ago ? Now 10 points ahead and up to 7th, proper manager in charge there. Quote

Blame squarely at TM’s door for relying on the injury prone Mulgrew and Rodwell (who are both awful defenders anyway). Lenihan’s had a couple of long lay offs too. Rank bad management to let the only lad who likes a header in Downing to leave. Edited March 16, 2019 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
Roboftherovers82 Posted March 16, 2019 Posted March 16, 2019 mental how we always score goals but cant seem to keep them out at the back another 2 goals scored today away from home and we got nothing out of it Quote
