Literally a field I just love these footballers who want to play the beautiful game for as long as they can even if it means dropping down to pub league football in their 40s. Frank Worthington was one of those. Good on ye, Pascal. I've no time for those who elect to retire from international football either. Thank goodness there was no lucrative magnet in USA or China when Kevin Moran was coming to the end of his career. 2 Quote

I worked with Stan Milburn, brother of Jackie, uncle to Bobby and Jack Charlton, He'd been a pro for about 20 years, played for Leicester in the old First Division, England " B" international full back in his hey day. He played for the same works team as I did and he was playing amateur football long after I finished, well into his 50's. He just loved the game. 1 Quote
