I met Marcus many a year ago.

Very quiet lad.

One of those players who was right on the fringes of being something really quite special. But never quite made it unfortunately.

Bit like Kalanic. The "nearly man". Nearly got on the end of that cross etc etc.

But liked his energy and enthusiasm all the same. He would walk into our team now.

Once the tap is turned off unless these players have been smart with investments/businesses/property etc, doesnt take long for their lifestyle to drain what they have. Getting into drugs is not a good idea either.
