There's Only One Simon Garner, will ring out once more at Ewood Park on the Sunday 18 May, when Souness's Worthington Cup Team will pit their wits against Dalglish's Championship Team, in a testimonial game for fans all time favourite Simon Garner.

Garner has been granted a testimonial by the club for the service he gave the club, with  Souness and Dalglish managing respective teams, this will be a mouth watering finale to the season.

Souness has made the current squad available for the game and plans are underway to reunite the Championship side. Henning Berg even revealed in his post match interview today, that subject to selection by Dalglish, he has opted for selection in the Championship team.
