VinjayV4 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Lars Bohinen is manager of Norwegian outfit Sandefjord and in 2011 finished third on Norway's version of Strictly Come Dancing. He joined Rovers from Forest in 1995. NORWEGIAN international Lars Bohinen could spark off Ray Harford's imminent spending spree by joining Blackburn Rovers from Nottingham Forest this week for £700,000. Some may recall Georgios Donis returned to Ewood as manager of Larissa in 2007. Been sacked a few times since then and is currently managing Al-Hilal. He was actually highly rated when he joined Rovers as United were also interested. Blackburn Rovers have beaten arch rivals Manchester United for the signing of Greek superstar Georgios Donis. Quote

Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted January 27, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted January 27, 2016 I follow Lars Bohinen on Instagram, seems a good lad still! His lad is a footballer as well. Quote

I remember Donis playing against Ajax in the Champions League and running Winston Bogarde ragged. He looked a good player off that showing. Quote
VinjayV4 Posted January 31, 2016 Author Posted January 31, 2016 I remember Donis playing against Ajax in the Champions League and running Winston Bogarde ragged. He looked a good player off that showing. That might say more about Bogarde... Here's an interview from Bogarde within the past year. Bit different to earlier comments when he said he didn't care about being considered one of the worst EPL transfers ever, http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/mar/27/winston-bogarde-chelsea-interview Sure I read somewhere that Donis was extremely upset when Shearer was sold. Rovers certainly got the better of United that summer. Quote
