Was with us in King Kenny's time but hardly ever played. My fault as put him in my Fantasy Football team when we signed him!

Moved onto Huddersfield I think.

Very lightweight midfielder - good skill - just not tough enough

The very epitome of a journeyman.

I saw some of him up here in Scotland when he played for Hearts, Livingston and the Pars.

He was exactly as described by DraytonRover above.

Kenny's first signing, if memory serves; along with another young - back then! -midfielder whose name escaped me.

Until flicking through these threads: Wayne Burnett!

After retiring, Makel went into coaching & currently, according to Wikipedia, is an Academy coach at Hibernians.

Another one tagged the new Gazza as they all were back then but non ever got close. Remember watching him in the ressies and thinking he was a good player who needed to fill out a bit.
