Thank god we won't be embroiled in it but it is more exciting than the Premier League 

At this rate I think it could. The way the league is so competitive at both ends of the table, with anyone getting a result Vs anyone it could well be another 50+ pointer to stay up. 

Got the Hull-Boro prediction wrong. Thought Hull were dead and buried with onfield and off field problems but it shows anyone can get a result regardless of circumstances. (And makes me wonder how much can TM hide behind Venkys...) Still think Warnock will keep Boro up mind but that was a bad one for them to lose.

The touchline/dugout area is all a bit panto, but something that I have spotted is that pretty much all our managers have looked subdued in the Venky era. 

Compare it to the days of Big Sam in which he spent most of the game cajoling and barking out instructions... indeed just look to the opposition technical area most weeks and notice the contrast.

Apart from 2 clowns, but not in a funny way, the rest have all been miserable buggers in looks and speech, just not the sort to get animated.

Ainsworth of Wycombe fame had more animation tonight in one match that that bunch added together in their entire careers.

Millwall were fortunate to have a genuine bloke in Neil Harris who saw he had reached his limit at the club and stepped down to allow them to progress. Very very few of those sorts in the modern game.

Millwall have a nice run of fixtures, whilst Derby have a horrible run in. 
Personally I think it’s between Cardiff and Millwall. 
 

As for ourselves, to have a sniff we have to beat both Cardiff and Millwall away as well as at least 2 others, very slim indeed. 
3 points from Wigan and Barnsley and who knows, I fear we’ll be looking back at that week for a few gloomy years to come as our best chance in a long time.
Reminiscent of throwing away a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 with Sheff Wed and then 0-0 at home to Yeovil back to back in Bowyers years.

Is there proof the two events are linked or is that just speculation? I haven't been following it closely but a month (actually longer, 03/10 - 16/11) seems like quite a long time for such a plan to be executed. Not saying it's beyond the realms of impossibility, just strange that Harris would resign that early and have to wait that long if that was the plan.

yes resigned cos the players were not performing for him. Now he got to keep Boro up. can he do it? What would Gibson do if Boro do given his decisions he has made at the club over the last 18 months.

Yes they are going to appoint their reserve team manager because their chairman is worried about FFP compliance and wants to make sure plenty of reserve players go through to their first team.

well Bristol City in the last 2 seasons have made a 14 million pounds profit between buying players and selling players this season and the season before 17 million pounds profit. They sold Adam Webster last summer for 20 million to Brighton after buying him around 4 mil season before.

Another example of how Mowbray has been lucky in terms of the net spend hes been allowed not having to sell anyone. Shame he has mainly wasted it.
