news FF Minutes July

Just been reading through the FF minutes from early July. Couldn't find much discussion on here about them so I thought I'd provide a link/thread.

This was an idea mentioned which I think could be a great idea.

What I said in the season tickets thread aside from my anti-FUP comments.

...and it would have been a lot more than 15,000 had the club treated it as a catchment area from 2001-2012. 

7 people in attendance and 8 who couldn't attend? If that many people can't attend then you shouldn't really be on the fans forum. A couple of people ought to be replaced.

Vinjay - of the 8 who were unable to attend the last Fans Forum meeting, two were unable to attend due to illness, two were at a funeral, two had last minute work commitments, one had a family commitment and one was on holiday. All 8 have a good attendance record at the Forum. Which two of those do you think we should replace?

In bold though it depends what the family commitment was. Isn't it right to express concern when more members are absent than in attendance?

There's nothing wrong in raising a point that on this occasion a number of people had to miss the meeting. As it happens everyone had to my mind a good reason why they couldn't make it. You just seem to have used the point to suggest that two members should be replaced. Why two?

Also to add. It looks like Away fans will definitely be situated in the Darwen End Lower this season, and not in the Upper as per the end of last season.

current plan sees fans situated inside red zone highlighted here, with advertising underneath.

The club are also offering up the Naming Rights for the STC. Interesting one but could prove to be a good source of income.

95%certain it will be another gaming/betting/gambling company.
