AllRoverAsia Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Lans Live now blowing holes in Mowbray's 'good performances' face saving tactic. Spoilt by lack of decent checking and editing as in '' Passive, subdued and inspiring, Rovers may have enjoyed plenty of the ball but lacked substance to invent'' I am quietly confident they meant 'uninspiring'. https://www.lancs.live/sport/football/football-news/blackburn-rovers-concerning-picture-championship-20328873 Quote

OldEwoodBlue Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 Please God let him be sacked today. Doesn't need to be 3pm...just any time will do. Thank You. Amen. 3 Quote
yellowsubmarine Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 How Mowbray is still around i dont know. I hope once/if we can get those 3-5 more safety points, we can finally boot this joke of a man. He can bring his journey and possession bullshit elsewhere. Quote

He has no intention of walking away, not before being Bob the Builder of Brockhall If he has any self respect or honour left, he would have left on his own. No, instead he passed the ball to Venkys. Venkys has to sack him on their own accord so that Mowbray can get his payout. Hes starting to fall into the category of Murphy, Etuhu, Kean... 1 Quote
cesus Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 I actually fear Damien Johnson is starting to get burned at this club for being on Mowbrays side of the line. He will be stood by Mowbray whilst he is talking all his guff and discussing all his great tactical knowledge of long balls up to Armstrong and immobile strikers playing on the wing. If I was a pro at the club I'd be looking at Johnson and wondering how can you go along with all this crap. I think the players down tools some time back and a massive example of that is the complete lack of social media content coming from the club with player participation. There has been none for months! 4 Quote

gumboots Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 I've a few bottles of champagne. I might be tempted to crack one open if somebody can just do the deed and sack him. 1 Quote

BigUts Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 It's been a real funny old season and one in which it feels like the end of an era. We started with real promise and gusto; and it really felt like we were setup to attack teams. Even in the games in which we got beaten, we were certainly in them and came close to scoring a few times. The garden seemed rosy and we looked good for a top 6 spot. Fast forward from the end of November, and we are spineless, toothless and structureless. Mowbray has besmirched himself with Rovers fans and his legacy will forever be dirtied. He could have left a positive mark in the minds and memories of Rovers fans the world over if he had shown class and dignity by walking away several weeks ago when it seemed like his time was up. I think most of the fanbase turned following the Preston defeat. I am certain his time is up and its a case of when and not if...but as others have said history dictates we will wait too long and I just pray we can conjure a win from somewhere to alleviate the very realistic prospect of relegation. 1 Quote

Who else is going to take all Boro's duds off their hands for them? 2 Quote

Weve played good football under mobwray for less than half a season. 3 Quote

Please just give me a manager who at least looks like he gives a damn when we're behind. 8 Quote

It just makes me so angry that the tosspot that is Mowbray is allowed to get away with ripping of our Club, often to the benefit of the scabs at Boro. Edited April 7, 2021 by AllRoverAsia 4 Quote

Other managers can't win when commenting on their opponents, most of them would make a comment like this & perhaps undeservedly get stick from the fans, others *cough*Paul Cook*cough* make negative or gloating comments and they quite rightly get grief. I think most managers treat reactions to comments in the press with the same amount of attention that they give the reactions on message boards like this 🙂 1 Quote

It's all based on his West Brom team from 12/13 years ago that got promoted from the Championship scoring a lot of goals but then passed their way to 20th place in the Premier League. Yet you still hear Sky pundits say it every time we're on TV. Clueless. 10 Quote

One manager gets grief for gloating when they pip us to the title (understandable) another gets grief for supporting our dreadful manager simply because he's his mate (again, understandable). Quote

I think the main line in the latest match report on SkySports was that Bournemouth beat an "out of sorts" Blackburn, as if it was some kind of one off. Maybe 2/3 losses is a team being out of sorts but 1 win in 14 is just a shite team. 10 Quote
Blue blood Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 I have to analyse why this happened. The consequences have to come directly to me, I decided who played, the style we were trying to play so I have to be the first one to face those questions. Thats what the Huddersfield manager said last night after the thumping by Norwich. Has TM ever said the consequences should come to him or he should face questions? In fact he's the opposite and things no one has a right to question him. Would be nice if he could take just a smidgen of this accountability. 8 Quote
