Christ we aren't back to Mowbray once got promoted to the Prem again are we ?   I wish it would be dropped from judging his last DECADE or more.

No reason to assume they won't change tack again at some point in the future.  First few years it was all young coach with potential and after they got tired of being let down with that they turned to 'experienced guy with a promotion' on his cv.  Next change might just be either foreign coach with good credential or perish the thought somebody actually with something relevant in the last few years. That might take poaching and compen though.

What really needs to happen is for the penny to finally drop and realize their requirements do make sense but the people they rely on to supply these managers are the dogs arse not its bollocks !

They don't know anything about football - however it seems likely that ultimately they make the decisions.

Isolating due to symptoms. Are we saving money on testing nowadays? I thought football was meant to be in a bubble. If they’ve been in contact with other players then everyone is at risk!

It’s getting worse and worse.

Players are getting it all over the world - Ronaldo has tested positive twice. How on earth do you blame the club for this ?

I really don't see why the rule of twice weekly testing of players has been removed although no doubt it is down to money.

How can footballers be in a bubble when they are just normal people. They still have to go home to their families, do the shopping, their children at school,. etc. 

We cannot lock them and their families for months after months end in order to play a game of football

Rubbish. They dont have to do shopping, never heard of delivery service? I've managed it, the problem is most of them are young and dont give a shit

The season will last until May - you can't seriously be suggesting no player at this or any other club will not have contact with the outside world until then.

They have kids who go to school and can come into contact with it and bring it home.  They or their wife will take the children to school.  This is going to happen throughout the season and will impact every club.

This will be happening at every club. Look at Accy Stanley, 19 positive tests from people at the club. There last two games have been postponed, every team will have players who get it at some point, if there’s a large amount then the game will be postponed, if it’s just one or two players then games will go ahead and you’ll have to do without them. That’s how it’s going to be this season.

So when would the season restart? 

Surely we have to continue life as best as we can now despite Coronavirus. We have enough restrictions on our daily life as it is without having sport taking away from people lifes.

You also said constantly throughout the first lockdown that football should never have restarted last season. So according to you, not a single professional match should have been played since March. 

If the world had listened to you, football would no longer exist.

And using the same logic neither would cricket, golf, cycling, motor racing, horse racing, rugby union, rugby league, athletics, swimming, snooker, darts or international chess tournaments. 

In the face of incredible government incompetence (not just in this country) many sports governing bodies deserve a lot of credit for keeping things going. ECB deserve particular credit IMO for delivering a full international season and a credible domestic season in these circumstances.
