rigger Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 (edited) Who the fuck at the Rovers, thinks it's a good idea to let Mowbray make media statements ? Edited February 12, 2021 by rigger 2 Quote

Surely when moving ( Country, house, car, job etc etc) you acclimatise to the new environment. ''Black and white'' - I think the suggestion there is that Leeds play a simple system easy to understand but ours is complex. I need a GIF for that one. Mowbray isn't wrong, it takes a lot for a player to come here and figure out the nonsense he comes up with week after week after being at a well coached team. 8 Quote

Think he means the boring stuff like getting promoted and holding your own in the league above, players playing in their proper positions etc, rather than some exciting lsd induced bollocks about a euphoric journey to the mid table magic roundabout using the mystical tombola positioning system 12 Quote

Mr. E Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 It is absolutely tragic that a better manager did not get a chance to use these players and push us to the next level. Mowbray has cost us a chance at least at the play offs, that much is clear. The players individually are good enough. The manager is not. 2 Quote

That's the truth of it and, at the end of the season we'll be rebuilding again. Is there anyone left who thinks we have any likelihood of top 6 this season. Mowbray's failed and must go. Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 So which is it: Madame and Blingy have given him the cold shoulder (as per an ITK on here) or he’s so safe that he just couldn’t care less. His body language is becoming an insult to every single Rovers fan. It’s fine if you’ve ran out of ideas and are getting bored Tony - managers have a short shelf life in football. But don’t drag us through the mire with you. Just please for the love of God - GO. Quote
Ewood Ace Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Has anyone any idea what he actually does? We have conceded again from a set piece but he has already previously said he doesn't do the work on set pieces. When asked about the formation before the game tonight he said he doesn't worry about formations and 'let's see what happens.' During the game whilst Neil was bellowing orders down on the touchline and giving his subs instructions he was just sat in his seat in the dugout looking like a cast member from The Night of the Living Dead. As for the subs made, they must surely have been drawn out of a hat by someone. 3 Quote
tina Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Mowbray can go for me. What a useless manager. Hope somebody is listening in Pune Quote
davulsukur Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 He's now hit Coyle/Ince levels of organisation. We are managed like a pub team. "We'll get Taylor on because he comes to training every week." "Sam, I know you wanna play upfront but you've not paid your subs all season, so you're on the right wing" "Sam, just play right back for a bit, to let Elliott attack. Its his birthday this week, cheers" "Tommy K, you're on throw ins" "Jarrad, I know you're hanging out of your arse but you'll have to start at CB, because you're a lanky streak of piss" 3 Quote
Hasta Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 If normal service is to be resumed, it's around about now that those fans who say it's time for Mowbray to move on if we don't get in the play offs this season start moving the goalposts. Quote

skous18 Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 We have come to the point where Mowbray needs to go. I know that from an outside point of view it might look like he is doing well in the small Blackburn Rovers football club, but if he stays for any longer, he risks losing completely the respect that he had undeniably won of pretty much 80-90% of the supporters. If this charade continues he could easily be remembered as another Keane or Coyle. Quote
RoversClitheroe Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Useless. I'm genuinely embarrassed to be Blackburn Rovers fan with Mowbray in charge. All my mates now taking the piss too. Quote
