Agreed and I think this training pitch situation isn't the most important issue at the moment. That is replacing the manager and backroom team. To build for next season.

The logical thing to do now would be to bring in a new manager now that a play off finish is unrealistic and play predominantly the players that he plans to keep in a formation that he would like to play, consistently.

If they dont go up this season, I would suspect teams such as Forest and Cardiff will be much stronger with managers having already started to mould the team into the way they would like. As it is, Mowbray will still be overseeing confusion well into next season. Demoralising.

I'm genuinely struggling to come to terms with the arrogance of the man and his 'performance-related' comments. They really are Kean-esque.

Mowbray obviously thinks he's bigger than the club if he thinks his 'philosophies' are more important than results.

I've never known any other manager come out with such nonsense. Ever. 

Results matter, nothing else.

Mowbray has played some part. If its about money then his failure to get rovers promoted in the past 3 seasons despite good financial backing would mean rovers have missed out on hundreds of millions.  If its not about money then we'll never mind

Just get rid now. Johnson will do on an interim basis to allow for a intensive search for a new manager and a new direction for the first team squad.

Ya, I'm approaching Kean like levels of frustration now. If he goes soon though, I will move on from that and recognise the good job he did, to a point. I hope it doesn't drag to the point where he damages the good work he did do.

I could be wrong but the players also seem eerily quiet in their support perhaps further enhanced by the lack of commitment through contract extensions apart from 2 youngsters who have plenty to prove at this level

I said it wasn't the most pressing issue, as in its not going to be solved over night, whereas Mowbray could be sacked and replaced in a few days. Setting us up with a manager who can work with the squad for next season, at least.

At the end of the day,Mowbray can blame whatever external factors he wants , but the fact remains he really hasn't helped himself with his downright bizzare use of certain players when they are fit. He has had longer than any other manager in the league, yet our players at this stage of the season when they should be peaking, look more confused and disjointed than anyone. 

 Comparing our plight to that of Liverpool and Brentford ignores one huge discrepancy, their managers have delivered previously, massively in Liverpool's case, whereas Brentford are certs to at least make the play offs. It's nonsese.

I keep seeing fans come out with this line as well.

No correlation whatsoever with our situation it's a bizarre comparison to make.

The Brentford one he keeps making is insulting really considering what they've achieved in recent years.
