I was one of those 5,000 and I enjoyed it as there was pride in the shirt and a bloke managing who did his genuine best . 6 Quote

Then I’ll be done til he’s gone - that’s for sure. 5 Quote

Ghost7 Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Surely he is done? I mean surely this has to be it? No more of this please. I won't be watching or attending a single game with him in charge. Quote

47er Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 It shows how bad things are when I say I completely forgot we were playing. As for his comments, he focuses on the need for good recruitment in the summer which implies he intends to be part of it. Please Raos, don't waste anymore dosh with him. Quote
Dan Posted April 20, 2021 Posted April 20, 2021 Worse than Kean. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s mates with Anderson. Honourable lol. I’ve said for years that Dullbray is a nasty ****. 4 Quote
cesus Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Everything you need to know about Mowbray can be learned from our outgoing players. Only Raya in his entire time managing us has gone onto play at a club higher than us. 1 Quote

Exactly, in 4 years he hasn't successfully built players from the academy nor bought players to sell on. I don't think there can be many clubs who haven't successfully developed players to go on to play at a higher level in the last 4 years. Quote

He’s quickly changed his tune, from that article... ‘I've always been a 'glass half full' character, which in many cases has blinded me and my immaturity but I'd like to think I have the intelligence to assess a business model that's stalled in a period of stagnation and is teetering on the lubricious slope of decline.’ Yet he was waxing lyrical about the structure and stability of the club - in his view largely in place due to the Venky/Mowbray relationship, literally this week in the Sheffield local rag, for example - through Mowbray there has been a bridge. He has advised Venky’s on things, where investment is needed, and they’ve been happy to take it...a structure was brought in. ” 3 Quote
Backroom Mike E Posted April 21, 2021 Backroom Posted April 21, 2021 About as damning as Sharpe may be allowed to get. the punches might be pulled somewhat, but they're there. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/19247018.verdict-blackburn-rovers-2021-story-well-told/?ref=wa 1 Quote
bringdunnback Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Most decent (ethically and tactically) managers will hold their hands up. This from a National League manager, and yet TM has never once put his arrogance to one side. I'm absolutely disgusted. Quote

I read it and recall being somewhat irritated. Hmmmmm Crook is a weather cock. 1 Quote
Hoochie Bloochie Mama Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Chelsea apparently shat it when they received replies to correspondence regarding ST's that suggested many fans wouldn't renew if the club joined the ESL. Hopefully Rovers fans do similar as regards Mowbray. 4 Quote

RoversClitheroe Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Fantastic articles from Sharpe and Crooke. Where's the actual tough questions in the pre/post match from Andy Bayes though? Quote
davulsukur Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Absolutely disgraceful that he is still in charge. I don't care if Venky's want to do a review in the summer, we are just wasting the fans time and money (and patience) by leaving him in charge for the remaining games. 2 Quote

They have now lost 19 matches, the same number they managed in the whole of their 2016/17 relegation season. They have failed to score more times (13) than they have managed clean sheets (11) and it’s now two wins in 17 and 11 points taken from the last 51 available. Quote

How any manager can survive those statistics, is quite incredible and testament to the lunatics we have running the asylum. 9 Quote
