Backroom Tom Posted May 8, 2021 Backroom Posted May 8, 2021 Actively trying to flog Armstrong now: That’s out of my control. For Adam’s sake let’s hope the phone rings and someone offers us a ridiculous amount of money, we shake him by the hand and we say go and bang in loads of goals in the Premier League and we’ll use some of that money in the team and can find another striker who can bang loads of goals in. Coventrio will probably be on commission. Quote

chaddyrovers Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 @oldjamfan1 @Mercer @Paul Mani any updates on Mowbray's future or further news you can post? thanks in advance guys Quote
TheRoversReturn Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 There's never been any indication that TM was under any kind of pressure. As much chance as him receiving a contract extension being the scenario as him leaving, tbh. Actually, it might be a more likely summer bombshell considering our terrible owners. BRFC does not operate like a normal football club nor has it since 2010. 1 Quote
RTM08 Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 (edited) Is there another job in the country where you could fail your job on pretty much every metric and not be under the slightest bit of pressure? Edit: I forgot politicians exist Edited May 8, 2021 by RTM08 2 Quote

davulsukur Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Well, thats the end of a completely shite season. Only thing to look forward to now is the sacking of the Coventrio. We've been waiting till the end of the season for what feels like forever and now we are finally here. Let's hope the Coventrio are binned off ASAP. 3 Quote

What other manager would be advocating the departure of his number one asset? Staying or going - the man's an absolute disgrace. 6 Quote

So what he says basically is that we are shit but we have one premier league quality player in our books, so as we have no ambitions, it would be a shame if he doesn’t test himself in the Premier League with some other team. In the meantime we obviously aint going up and we spent lots of money on two strikers who unfortunately ended up being shit so hopefully once Arma goes we will be able to find someone who is better than them 1 Quote

Popular Post Ianrally Posted May 8, 2021 Popular Post Posted May 8, 2021 Gareth Ainsworth on today’s result for Wycombe "We were so close but next time we'll get over that line, believe me, because we've learned as a club - I've got things wrong this season but I've always given my best and done what I thought was right”. "I can't wait for next season because we are going to make another mark in League One”. Now there’s a manager of passion, but it looks like he has no plans to go anywhere. 16 Quote

Ofc we all know he should be sacked, however every noise and interview coming out of the club points to him being here next season. Have you heard something ? Give me some hope please. Quote

tomphil Posted May 8, 2021 Posted May 8, 2021 Has he been sacked, stepped down, walked out, resigned yet ? Has the root and branch started ? No, close this thread, stop with the Nicko style bet edging and prepare for a rough summer. Groundhog season next season...or worse. We've won 5-2 and i'm sick to the back teeth already before the summer has begun. 5 Quote

It's the perfect scenario for him he'll take all the credit and flaunt it to the eyes of the owners. He'll then make a thousand other excuses when there's barely a quid spare from it to re-invest. Then he'll sign a dolloper from Boro on big wages. 3 Quote
