my guess is they're currently scouring the free agents bin looking for a striker that will accept our crappy wages. 

 

there are a few big and biggish name 'veteran' centre forwards out there looking for clubs, we could do with a bit more experience in the side if we could get one on a short term deal, but that doesn't fit on with the clubs "Philosophy" 🙄

they should look back at last time we got promoted! we had some very good young players coming through then as we do now but without the experience of Hughes, stig, short, berg, berkovich, grayson... we'd never have got anywhere

I do get your point though, Hughes, Short and Berg were invaluable in that season, and Berkovic for me was an incredible signing that helped get us over the line.

Nothing is done with any drive here anymore it's always why bother today we'll do it tomorrow. The link was taken direct from NewsNow a screenshot of the NewsNow page is below. I found it quite amusing that when I clicked on the link it went to a page stating that their was no article, almost as if TM had gone back on his word, again. I promise exciting football he said, whoops better retract that statement fast.

I must admit I thought it was a joke. The link saying tm promises fan excitement only to click on it for it to say sorry that page doesn’t exist. Even though he’s actually made such ludicrous claims I still think the irony of the page not existing is funny.

Yes it’s 100% true - in fact, the staff threatened a walk out at Brockhall over it, so an alternative where people can apply for tickets has been set up. Not as good as the STs they previously where issued, but at least something.

That's mean. I hate that kind of nit picking on everyday workers due to incompetence and money mismanagement above. Like in the grand scheme of things its peanuts and god knows we need more fans at games! I don't even get how it saves money ,it's not like there's a waiting list and someone else will take them, they will just go idle. Hate that crap.

It doesn't save money, it's just an idea cooked up by lazy overfed halfwits in suits promoted beyond their station.

Trying to justify their jobs by making bad decision after bad decision. It especially grates because I've been in meetings with moronic suggestions like this, and middle management noting it down with a stupid fake smile on their face. And you just know it's being greenlit the following morning.

I was always that person to say "why?", I'm so glad I don't have to put up with it any more.

Self defeating imo. Employee gets ST For free so brings along son/daughter/auntie/uncle whoever who pay for their ticket. Each get a pie & a drink etc, money in the coffers. Now, no ST, no 'bring along' no pies, no drinks, no nothing! 

It's not like we need the space! Absolute helmets, the lot of em!
