Cue Gav to say everyone said the same about Warnock when he first went to Boro and Hughton!

Personally I'd rather take the gamble and TRY to be more successful rather than sit there doing nothing because we happened to win the last game.

Plenty of barmy army chants yesterday but TM blue and white army didn't seem to have a rendition. At the end in injury time there was a brief up the football league we go but by the time it got to mowbray is our king it had been drowned out by something else.

Absolutely spot on.

History tells us Mowbray will go on a death spiral in the not too distant future, and then the season will be over.

Fans kicking themselves thinking "why did I fall for it with Mowbray for the 3rd season in a row"

Think some get too hung up about our ownership saying nothing will change whilst Venky's remain in situ.

The key question for me is would a new manager get a better tune out of the players currently at Mowbray's disposal and would those players uncertain of committing their future to Rovers be more inclined to stay under the direction of a manager with a clear plan, ambition and who doesn't hang them out to dry (which IMO Mowbray does -it's never his fault).  The answer to me is Yes and Yes.

We are 7th in the league and have a much better opportunity of selling the club to a new manager than if we were rooted to the bottom of the table.

The time for change is now and long overdue.  Yesterday's result is irrelevant.  What is relevant is Mowbray's 5 years in charge and, IMO, the undefined journey in his football maze of a mind.  I think we know another Mowbray death spiral is never far away and who can ever forget last seasons abysmal 2 wins in 17 games.

One trick pony who’ll be found out just like Warnock, Houghton, McCarthy, we should be aiming higher for next summers replacement.

You and I both strongly agree that our owners are an issue.

However, that does not change the persona, ambition, drive, tactical awareness, relationship with supporters etc of the manager who is in charge at any point in time.

IMO, anyone who thinks Mowbray IS NOT an issue is a fool.

Warnock and Mccarthy are past it now it seems, but their career record as a managers up until the last couple of years speaks for itself when it comes to championship clubs and reaching play offs, promotions with various clubs of different statures

We’ve had 8 managers in 10yrs, it’s a strategy that clearly works…..

I won’t call anyone a fool, it’s all a matter of opinion, but as I keep saying, changing managers won’t change our current situation for the better, but equally I wouldn’t lose any sleep over the club sacking Mowbray. 

It’s all about the long game for me, that’s getting rid of these inept and incompetent owners.

The club can't force the players to do anything; they have a contract of employment to honour.

Why on earth would you bench the likes of Lenihan, Nyambe & Rothwell just because they won't sign a new contract? Who in our current squad would you replace them with? Carter, JRC & Johnson? I'd rather that we played our best players every single game.

How the CEO allegedly telling random fans that the managers job was on the line is anything other than totally unprofessional is beyond me. Totally undermining the manager and not something that should happen or would happen at a well run football club.

I didn't attend the Fulham game no, but lets not pretend we've not had bad results over the years, embarrassing results too, I've been at most of them.

When those goals went in yesterday it was a superb feeling, coming from 0-1 down, the best I've felt for a long time I can tell you. Look at the joy on the faces in Blackburn End when Brereton scored in the link chaddy posted, priceless, absolutely priceless.

Absolutely, yesterday's game was a joy to witness.

But let's not pretend that Mowbray is some kind of managerial guru who we couldn't hope to better.
