What do you suggest instead Gav ?

The Mowbray Walkway behind the JW stand complete Shankly style gates ....😂

How about a Mowbray statue suspended over the river Darwen with him walking on water?

IF he gets us promoted? 🤣

I'd contribute just to wind @RevidgeBlue up.

Would you mind sharing your working out with us for this outlandish claim?

Who do you think makes up the shortfall of c £20m p.a. for wages etc?

(£30m plus during the pandemic)

Wow!

I was expecting a poor response, but not as weak as that.

Back up your response with facts not just yah boo boo answers.

How much has the debt to the owners risen by since Mowbray took over.

And, if we don't go up, are we actually any better off in relative terms?

You are the one who needs to back his accusation up with facts, not me.

Show how Mowbray has "burned through £120m of the owners money" Shortfall for wages is not him burning through their money and you know it. You are in a minority among the fanbase, most of us are behind this manager and what he is achieving.

How about a statue of him sitting down with his head in his hands.  Just like real life

Rochdale had a super fan who collected money for them for years. When he died he left all his estate to the club. I heard about £250k. They’ve bought a new electric scoreboard with some of it. They also commissioned a bronze full size statue of him sitting down. It’s placed  in the seat he always sat in, I passed it the other day when I was finding my seat at the Rugby League.

Today is the 5th anniversary of TM's appointment as manager. The club is in a much better place now than then.

Not better enough though. Nobody knows if his is a one-off season and if we might  therefore be disappointed once again next season.

Barnsley comes to mind.

Is it? Bar this season things haven't improved that much if at all

Pure blinkered view this.

Look at the quality of player we have now, compared to then, Look at the number of academy player sin the squad. Look at the value of players compared to then. Dack, Armstrong, Brereton-excellent signings.

Done well with the bounce back season and love the turnaround and faith in youth this season.  Bang average at best for the other 3 years though no different than what numerous other average managers would deliver, give or take.

To be here so long is an achievement and the turnaround from last season has been great. If we are being brutally honest though he's also a very lucky manager to have survived some of it. He must say his prayers to the gods of India every night.

All being said he's been a good manager here given what we are these days thanks to various issues. He deserves some respect and to be left to just get on with it this season although some of the virtue signalling today on social media is embarrassing.

As that ex Palace owner on the radio would say he's just a man actually doing the job he's paid a hell of a lot of money to do.

Let’s see what quality of players we have next August.

Tony Mowbray will travel to India to meet owners Venky’s to discuss his long-term future in the summer as the manager today marks five years in the job.

Couldn;t do it over Zoom no?  Gretta Thunberg will not be happy.
