The Mowbray Walkway behind the JW stand complete Shankly style gates ....😂 How about a Mowbray statue suspended over the river Darwen with him walking on water? IF he gets us promoted? 🤣 I'd contribute just to wind @RevidgeBlue up. Edited February 14, 2022 by Gav 1 Quote

rigger Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 (edited) Mowbray bigging up tonights opposition on the official site. He always lists all the strong points of their players, so he knows about them, yet we never seem to have a plan to stop them. Edited February 14, 2022 by rigger 4 Quote

tomphil Posted February 14, 2022 Posted February 14, 2022 Looked quite comfortable that half but created nowt as usual yet restricted them as well. However Bruce will probably outsmart Mowbray 2nd half. Chances of him blaming everything on Nyambe and hooking him 1st chance he gets ? Evens. 1 Quote

Back up your response with facts not just yah boo boo answers. How much has the debt to the owners risen by since Mowbray took over. And, if we don't go up, are we actually any better off in relative terms? Quote
FortressEwood Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 You are the one who needs to back his accusation up with facts, not me. Show how Mowbray has "burned through £120m of the owners money" Shortfall for wages is not him burning through their money and you know it. You are in a minority among the fanbase, most of us are behind this manager and what he is achieving. 2 Quote

Just like real life Rochdale had a super fan who collected money for them for years. When he died he left all his estate to the club. I heard about £250k. They’ve bought a new electric scoreboard with some of it. They also commissioned a bronze full size statue of him sitting down. It’s placed in the seat he always sat in, I passed it the other day when I was finding my seat at the Rugby League. 4 Quote
Mashed Potatoes Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Today is the 5th anniversary of TM's appointment as manager. The club is in a much better place now than then. 7 Quote

Bigdoggsteel Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Anyway, it sounds like he is definitely getting a new deal and if we make the play offs, he deserves one. Quote
tomphil Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Done well with the bounce back season and love the turnaround and faith in youth this season. Bang average at best for the other 3 years though no different than what numerous other average managers would deliver, give or take. To be here so long is an achievement and the turnaround from last season has been great. If we are being brutally honest though he's also a very lucky manager to have survived some of it. He must say his prayers to the gods of India every night. All being said he's been a good manager here given what we are these days thanks to various issues. He deserves some respect and to be left to just get on with it this season although some of the virtue signalling today on social media is embarrassing. As that ex Palace owner on the radio would say he's just a man actually doing the job he's paid a hell of a lot of money to do. 4 Quote
