G Somerset Rover Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Great to see us keep up the 2 goals conceded per match ratio again. Consistency is key. 1 Quote

BankEnd Rover Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 We have a Good squad. Honestly I thought the line up today was decent . Bar the full backs. We played okay but something is missing. Never been a fan of Mowbray but really think we need a fresh new face. We have the talent, we need someone to take advantage of that. Quote

Displaced Rover Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 What's annoyed me is the lack of anything going forward. People were making out if we had a new CB we'd be top 6. Defensively shite and shite going forward, I'd snap your hand off for 15th right now. 1 Quote
Husky Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 We were in the game until the subs, then we completely lost the plot. Surely it's all Brereton's fault again. Quote
Hasta Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Just now, Mercer said: Don't get this. Quickly skimmed through and it seems we were doing well for 20+ minutes. Now we just seem shyte, again. I started watching it after about 35 minutes as I was reading we were doing well. We must have started well as we've had a lot of the ball but carved out very little. Fulham haven't been any better to be fair but have capitalised on someone living the ball away (Bennet maybe?) to score a second. I've seen nothing from Sam Gallagher in 2 games to see why he should have displaced Graham. I worry we've paid a lot of money for an inferior player and we are now going to be weaker for it as he will stubbornly refuse to pick DG. 1 Quote
Ewood Ace Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 No plan in transfer market and no plan on the pitch. Mowbray Out! 1 Quote

Ah, so now we’ve gone from top 6 being the aspiration to not being able to compete in the league, talk about moving the goalposts. 4 Quote

Personally think Graham has to be a starter. Gallagher hasn't really shown much in these last two games. Pushed the ball back out into the middle of the box allowing the forward a tap in. Should always push it wide. We've signed a right couple of duck eggs in Walton and Gallagher. Really poor 2nd half. Wonder when our first shot on target this season will be? 4 Quote

Tugay's Right Foot Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 We are stuck right at the foot of the table. Confidence already seems Low and Johnson losing his head. Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Referee pulls it back after Brereton had beat his man and was free down the wing. Quote

Blue blood Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 How many players out of position by the end? At least 4. One or two is bad enough but 4 is shooting ourselves in the foot and is seriously unprofessional Quote

Not at all. We should play him up front ahead a Gallagher and Graham. Absolutely ridiculous taking off Travis and having so many forward players; the blame lies with Tony for his substitutions. Quote
CambridgeRover Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Mowbray couldn't be bothered to acknowledge the best travelling support you will find anywhere today Mr nice guy pffff. The veil is slipping on the dinosaur. Time to move on 6 Quote

Stuart Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Just now, DE. said: Trying to be optimistic here lads. Jeez. So was Mowbray in that last 15 minutes. Trouble is you need more than just blind optimism from your manager. I just don’t see where a win is coming from this month. Those players did not play like a team - and that is the only thing Mowbray can take any credit for: developing a team spirit. If the post in the other thread about Mulgrew/Mowbray is true then we have real problems on our hands. Lose the next match and I expect Mowbray to walk. 2 Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 Tony said he doesn't need to answer questions about his selection of players. Hopefully he will walk tonight and we can get someone in who we don't have to ask questions about their selection of players. Quote
adopted scouser Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 My mate for over 30 years Andy died suddenly a month ago, season ticket holder at the turf. Gary his son went to the game today and sat in his Dad's seat, fitting they won three nil and simultaneously we are bottom of the league. 4 Quote
Tugay's Right Foot Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 So only johnson’s Header from match against Charlton on target. Charlton’s doing well today too. Let’s see where we stand after 5 matches. If we are still stuck down there, would be a difficult season Quote
