joey_big_nose Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 If Williams is fit and can start ahead of Mulgrew that will be a big boost. 1 Quote

CrouchingNunhiddenCucumber Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Going to this one, love a day at Fulham. I fear we may get pumped though. Quote
CambridgeRover Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Going to this one as it not too far away from me. Praying we stay competitive. Don't think we have any chance of winning, but if we can stay within a goal, at least save some blushes Quote
bazza Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Looks like Harrison Reed could be playing AGAINST us. He's just gone on loan to Fulham.? Quote

He's said Williams and Adarabioyo will feature, and there's no way Lenihan doesn't play. So I reckon the back-four is going to be:Bell - Williams - Lenihan - Adarabioyo Which is an absolute nightmare. West Brom fans constantly slating Adarabioyo as a right back. Urgh. Zero chance of Adarabioyo playing right back. 1 Quote
RV Blue Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Back 4 should be Nyambe Lenihan Tosin Cunningham But we all know that it will probably be January before Cunningham properly settles in with the group and is available for selection. 2 Quote
sharpysharps86 Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Think we will play better against a better side than last weeks debacle...but it won't be enough and expect us to go down 3-1. 2 nil down at half time, we'll pull a goal back, get well on top and then get hit on the break.... Standard really. Gallagher to score our goal. Tom Carney almost certainly going to bag against us because of course he is. Expecting Mitrovic to net a couple too. My team would be: Walton Nyambe, Big Tosin, Lenihan, Downing Travis, Johnson Armstrong, Dack, Rothwell Gallagher Hope we get to see Brereton on the pitch at some point. Quote
rigger Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 As long as there is an improvement on last Saturdays performance, I will be relatively happy Quote
Bigdoggsteel Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 (edited) I know I was saying Tosin shouldn't have started last week due to him just being in the door, but I would put Cunningham in due to him being so much better than Bell. Nyambe Lenihan Williams Cunningham Hon the Irish lads Edited August 9, 2019 by Bigdoggsteel 1 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted August 9, 2019 Author Posted August 9, 2019 No way is Cunningham playing. Probably spend the next two weeks "learning how we play", then he misses the Cardiff game anyway, then TM will probably think "well we only have one more game before international break anyway might aswell give him another couple of weeks for his education" First league start - Saturday Sept 14th vs Milwall. (Possible league cup appearance v Oldham too) 1 Quote

Displaced Rover Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Hopefully we shoot with the wind in the first half... Quote
imy9 Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Williams and Lenihan at CB, Bell at LB and Nyambe at RB. That's my guess for tomorrow. Quote

CambridgeRover Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 I think we will line up with Williams , Lenihan, Tosin and Nyambe. Travis and Johnson in centre midfield then no idea elsewhere Quote
joey_big_nose Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 Though probably won't happen this game as only signed yesterday Cunningham does open up 3 at the back as he is way way more mobile than Mulgrew or Williams. Could see us going to something like ------------------------Walton -------Lenihan------Tosin----Cunningham JRC?--------Travis-------Johnson-------Downing -------------------------Dack ------------Brereton-------Gallagher Not sure if I like it though as no obvious place for Rothwell unless we drop Dack. 1 Quote
dallydally Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 I reckon Williams will play at left back with Lenihan and Tosin in the middle and Nyambe at right back. No start for Cunningham tomorrow but he'll be in the side soon. Bell on the bench at best. Hopefully Bennett too Quote
joey_big_nose Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 (edited) The most likely line up in my opinion is ------------------------Walton Nyambe----Lenihan----Williams---Bell -----------------Travis-----Johnson -------Armstong----Dack----Downing ------------------------Graham Messageboard pleased Bennett and Mulgrew out. Fury at exclusion of Rothwell. General confusion about what we do with our £12m of strikers. Edited August 9, 2019 by joey_big_nose 2 Quote
ruggles1995 Posted August 9, 2019 Posted August 9, 2019 I would go - Walton Nyambe Lenihan Johnson Cunningham Travis Rothwell Armstrong Dack Downing Gallagher I reckon 3-1 or 4-0 loss. We need to start on the front foot or we will get pummeled if we sit in. Quote

Transfermarkt reckons he's never played there and it tracks these things in detail Don't give Tony ideas! Edited August 9, 2019 by joey_big_nose Quote
