Also visited his grave a couple of months ago and left a scarf. The area itself is wonderful in St Brelades and it was an honour to pay respect to the greatest supporter this club will ever have.

I will never forget getting the news about his death. I had split with my now late Ex- wife and therefore took my Rovers supporting kids on the family holiday to France we had planned, on my own.

She text me to tell me, as she knew how much it mean to me and the kids.

A day, I will never forget.
