In a proper football club, the manager would be hauled into the boardroom for an explanation after the start to the season we've had.

Who is he answerable to?

He has a chat with his mate Waggott, the Loons probably unaware we have a match tonight.

I thought that Pasha bloke is the one who reports back to the owners etc.

Dont kid yourselves on Waggott, he has no authority for power surely?

Smallwood off, Rothwell on

Why so early in the half? Did Smallwood get injured or did Tony just forget to make the sub at half time?!

He just needed those extra 7 minutes, to double check Smallwood was shite.

Disappointing that the fringe players don't seem to be knocking the door down to be selected but the eleven changes are indicative of the problem that has been evident ever since we were promoted, twelve months on and TM still doesn't have a Scooby what his best side is.

Smallwood showing the manager his petulance after being subbed! Crazy goings on ...

To be fair I'd be pretty annoyed if I was subbed off 8 minutes into the second half as well... what in the world is Mowbray thinking? Is he trying to humiliate Smallwood on purpose?

I was being sarcastic, the truth is I don't believe there is any sensible, logical, business like chain of command at all. TM did his visit, got authority to buy another striker, job done. See you next time.

To be fair to Smallwood that is a bit of a kick in the knackers from Mowbray. Maybe he's trying to provoke him into going on loan to a League 1 Club.

Classier ways of doing it though. Just sub him at half time.

Honestly, at this point I can imagine Mowbray on the touchlike like,

"Mark, why is Richie still on the pitch?"

"You didn't make any changes at half time, gaffer, remember?"

"Didn't I? Bugger. Get him off."

"Might be best to wait another ten minutes chief, he might be a bit annoyed if you take him off now."

"It's only Richie, he'll be fine with it..."

Chapman on for Platt

Nyambe to centre half, Buckley right back

Mowbray on easy street. £500k a year (guessing) going into his retirement fund and no one looking over his shoulder. His pension advisers love the commission.

According to Rich Sharpe he was the better of the two central midfielders tonight, probably why he's a bit annoyed
