Backroom DE. Posted August 13, 2019 Backroom Posted August 13, 2019 (edited) We can add our name to the likes of Crewe and Forest Green Rovers as teams that have beaten Oldham this season. That might be the last we ever see of Smallwood, and Evans being hooked early on in the second half hopefully doesn't bode well for him either. Rothwell producing again will surely mean he's a first teamer going forward... right? So there are some positives. Happy to get the win in the end but that was frightening. We had Nyambe, Cunningham, Rothwell, Evans, Graham, Buckley, Downing and Brereton on the pitch at some point in the match for at least 40+ minutes and just scraped a win against Oldham. We simply must perform on Saturday or there could be some serious trouble ahead. Mowbray needs to sort himself out, start putting our best players on the pitch and find a way to stop conceding two goals a game. Edited August 13, 2019 by DE. 1 Quote

Ossydave Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Well that COULD be the catalyst to a decent run, or it could of course be a false dawn, who knows. Had we got beat though you'd be scrambling round to find a positive fan. I dare see we will see Danny Graham start Saturday now Quote
Backroom Popular Post Tom Posted August 13, 2019 Backroom Popular Post Posted August 13, 2019 Sounds like Dack and Graham together is the magic formula That knock down front DG for the third goal is something none of our other players have in them 10 Quote
stinny1 Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Rothwell and Chapman have too start on Saturday midfield of Rothwell, Johnson, Travis and chapman with Dack and Graham 1 Quote

RevidgeBlue Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Looking at the highlights it was the Bradley Dack show after he came on. Nothing much has changed over the last two seasons since League 1 days. He performs, we do ok, he doesn't perform, we struggle. 1 Quote

stinny1 Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Dack and Graham if its not broken don't fix it simple 2 Quote
neophox Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 Tony should get the sack for signing Breo and Gally. 1 Quote

BennyBennyson Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 This just shows that the new passing style is awful. 2 goals from punts to Graham. Quote
Backroom Tom Posted August 13, 2019 Backroom Posted August 13, 2019 Danny Graham is like that old big bloke in every Sunday league team, you think he’s not much to look at but has a brain beyond the rest of them and just keeps producing, those knock downs are beyond what the rest of them can do 5 Quote

Graham scored 15 last season so he's certainly effective. Dack & Graham have been our only consistent performers in terms of goals/assists for the past two seasons. We simply have to start with them both on the pitch. Edited August 13, 2019 by DE. 3 Quote

Husky Posted August 13, 2019 Posted August 13, 2019 We score 2 injury time goals to beat a 4th division team and suddenly Mowbray is a footballing genius. A 1 game winning streak and we're only 4 points off the play-offs. Things are looking good all of a sudden. Quote
