Ive come round to Gallagher on the right. I can see the point of it, I think it's been a key part of our wins. Bennett on the other hand is makeshift. However not convinced Nyambe is any better. I would sign a right back if at all possible.

He isnt a winger for one and those two at the time, were among the best in the league 'above' - for one season they were the best.

Steady first half not a lot created. Ok at back apart from a few dicey back passes to Walton. Let's attack more this second half. I'd bring Rothwell for Downing looking tired out their today

HT, sounds like Rovers need to cut out sloppy errors in the second half. Good to see 65-35 possession in our favour but need to do more with it.

Evens Steven so far. Cardiff look like a team that was a division above us last year. Games like this we need Bradley Dack to show he belongs at that level and make a goal out of nothing.

Thank God we don’t have David Raya though, Walton is looking much better.

Downing certainly not up to the standard he was at Hull so far. We're playing pretty well otherwise. If we can get our passing a bit more accurate in the final third, we should have enough to win this. Bennett with a yellow is a worry, would put Nyambe on at half time.

Dack very quiet - think he needs more quality and creativity around him who he can link up with. Give them something else to worry about, would get Rothwell on right now.
