Reedy You're A Star Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 We need a spark in attack, why not Buckley or JRC on? What is Bennett gonna do to provide that? 1 Quote
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 This has got injury time Cardiff winner written all over it Quote
Tugay-is-God Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Williams hits the post after a great cross by Travis Quote
Reedy You're A Star Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 So unlucky Williams. hits the post Quote
Tugay's Right Foot Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Travis really impressive in the last ten 1 Quote
Tugay's Right Foot Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Goal less draw. Clean sheet at least Quote
BankEnd Rover Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 (edited) Draw I'll take that I suppose. Clean sheet, could of played better. Need to take it to West Brom next week. Expect a sell out at them prices. Rothwell has to start. Edited August 24, 2019 by BankEnd Rover Quote
OldEwoodBlue Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Positives. Another clean sheet Negatives. Lack of shots on target and therefore goals. 8 points dropped now. Mid table form. Not TOP 6 form ! Quote

Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Meh game but In context, any kind of result at WBA would equal or exceed most expectations of a points haul for the first 6 games. Quote
Reedy You're A Star Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Not bad, not great. Probably about right on the face of it. Bell and Cunningham like night and day at LB. Downing a shadow of the player he was against Hull. 1st half could've been 2 up had our final ball been better, second half not the best showing. Williams MoM for me. Immense again and unlucky not to snatch the winner when he hit the post. Quote
davulsukur Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Another clean sheet, which is a bonus and we didn't do the standard concede in the last couple of mins either. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Disappointing, typical of us over the last 5-6 seasons really, every time we look like we're getting somewhere we flatter to deceive. 1 Quote
philipl Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Following the texts, it seems like we went backwards second half rather than up a gear. So much for me predicting a goal fest. Watched Derby v West Brom and West Brom are susceptible if the Rovers team at Hull City turn up. 1 Quote

We’re absolutely toothless going forward. On the flip side great to see us keep another clean sheet. Edited August 24, 2019 by Gavlar Somerset Rover! Quote
briansol Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Poor game to watch. Effort was ok, but not enough quality. Positive was another clean sheet. Looked solid in general and Lenighan/Williams duo are working very well. Credit to Walton as well who made a great save from Tomlin and looks far better at claiming balls in the air than Raya. Quote
Gary C Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Positives are another clean sheet but we arent creating enough. Their two centre backs won pretty much everything in the air. But it it was constantly pumped forward. Armstrong's pace caused a few problems for them when he came on Quote
