Tugay-is-God Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Yeah, I mean, like was mentioned before, why are we bothering to play Leutwiler? We already know that he's miles out of his depth. 2 Quote

neophox Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Armstrong really is a shite striker.. could easily had a hattrick. 1 Quote
1864roverite Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 A mistake from the keeper and we concede an atrocious goal. Smallwood should not be wearing a shirt Quote
neophox Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Well we all knew Tony would forfeit this.. Quote
Russ Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Should've been a routine catch for Leutwiler, only under pressure from his own player (Cunningham) presume he didn't call for it? No threat whatsoever until he punched meekly to their player Quote

philipl Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Well, a number of players are making a determined bid to be excluded from any future 18. 5 Quote

Bigdoggsteel Posted August 27, 2019 Author Posted August 27, 2019 Armstrong is a let down. Something about him that I don't like in a player. I think he comes accross as petulent and lazy. Absolutely zero chance I would trust him with a penalty either. 2 Quote

Can't put all the blame for everything at their feet. It's lazy at best. We played a strong team and were doing well before an individual error. An error which wasn't from Smallwood or Evans. Quote

Smallwood played a poor back pass which led to the corner in the first place to be fair. Quote
pick32 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 (edited) Armstrong > Brererton, Samual (that’s the scary thing but he is streets ahead of them) Edited August 27, 2019 by pick32 Quote
1864roverite Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 that ball went through 5 Rovers players who shied away from the ball ! 1 Quote

Ya that's fair enough. Still though, I think the two lads get unfair criticism when the likes of Armstrong and Leutwiler are arguably worse and more to blame Quote
neophox Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Stearman 33 and Jagielka 37 are two of the slowest centrehalfs ive seen and Armstrong cant run away from them... Quote
OJRovers Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Rovers much the better side on the whole. Losing because we have a non league standard keeper in net. Dack and Armstrong starting to form some good understanding and playing well. I'm the first to hold my hands up as a critic of Mowbray's new style BUT it is good to watch and is starting to bed in. Buckley is quality he plays like the ball is glued to his foot. We can't defend crosses still. Smallwood should not be on the pitch, simple as that. 2 Quote
