Cos he has no football brain. Speed is literally all he has and he can't even use it effectively. Really don't rate the guy. 4 Quote
Backroom DE. Posted August 27, 2019 Backroom Posted August 27, 2019 Two shots on our goal, two goals conceded. Lol. Normal service resumed. Quote
jim mk2 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Leutweiler for a big athlete is weak as a kitten. Is he frightened of getting hurt? He's a poor goalkeeper who should be replaced. 3 Quote
philipl Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 The problem with this is that what should be our regular back 4 are being taken apart by a bunch of reserves. Quote
neophox Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 If I was the manager I would make three changes at half time... this is not good enough against a side that didnt seem to bother Quote

Still though, I think the two lads get unfair criticism when the likes of Armstrong and Leutwiler are arguably worse and more to blame Sometimes certain players represent everything bad about a manager - made worse when they get played after they get found out. Ince had Andrews, Bowyer had Lowe, Mowbray has Evansmallwood. Quote
RevidgeBlue Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Looking at the replay of the second, Leutwiler should have done a lot better with that. Fairly nothing shot into the middle of the goal which only curled into the corner at the last minute. 1 Quote
scotchrover Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 I’m not overly bothered about the game so I’m following it on Twitter for a change. Whoever is doing the Rovers Twitter commentary tonight though is being completely bone idle. Their first goal came straight after the Williams shot tweet, despite the fact they had a corner, which wasn’t even mentioned until they’d scored. Rant over, and probably game over looking at the score line too! Quote

No surprise- we’re in bother if Walton gets injured, unless there’s a decent one in the youth set-up. Quote

If Davenport was fit I would have liked to see him tonight, or Tosin Quote
Stuart Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 As a fan, I looked at that line up and thought Mowbray wasn’t interested in the game. I wonder if the players think the same... Quote

Paul Mellelieu Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Sharpe says we played well and have been unlucky, rather suggesting that the players and manager do care about their performance and result. 4 Quote
G Somerset Rover Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Could really do with reminding ourselves how to score from open play. Toothless thus far this season. 3 Quote

But isn't that where TM falls down as a manager, as if injuries don't occur, and has anyone really rated Canada's number what? Edited August 27, 2019 by Proudtobeblue&white Quote

We've also dominated the game by the sounds of it, just gash at the back. The only wtf inclusions are Leutwiler, Smallwood and arguably Evans (he's good enough for a cup game for me though, just not paired with Smallwood). I'd have benched Dack personally, and Cunningham, to keep them fresh. 1 Quote

I wonder if the players think the same... Do you think so? I thought he'd put a really strong side out in the circumstances. Playing well but not taking your chances is a characteristic of sides that generally end up in trouble as has already been pointed out by jim and others this season. 1 Quote

stinny1 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 To be honest i wasn't bothered about tonight and if Evans and Smallwood have been given a run out tonight than that must mean they won't be picked for Saturday . But the same old problems are there to see the back four can't defend crosses into the box do they work on defending im beginning to wonder Quote
capybara Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Their second goal (without sound). ? SU2_0.mp4 Quote
