The question could be construed either way. I clarified what I meant straight away for those who didn't get that. So why are you still going on about it?

At least 5 million if it happens. Always presumed it was 20% of the profit, which is still most of that figure seeing as we only ever got about £500k for him.

Wegerleswiggle Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Come on Ole get that deal done this morning!!!!
Popular Post CambridgeRover Posted January 31, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 31, 2020 If we get 5 million, I suggest we rewrite history and claim Brereton was a free signing 10
tomphil Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 But what about when Rovers were skint because these lot who apparently bankroll promotion bids turned the taps off. Somebody put it out that they were cashing in all their sell on clauses and add ons for one off smaller payments ?? 1
Fraserkirky Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Think that 20% is a Football Manager fairytale. He was a bosman so a development fee is way more likely. Waldemer Anton was the one we went for late last January, strikes of this Faes fella 1

No I'm pretty sure at the time of that trial hearing it was determined that it would be a small fee and sell on percentage, don't think that's just plucked out of thin air...
Bigdoggsteel Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 If we get a sell on fee for King please get it done Ole FFS!!!! Ideally this morning....
Beanie01289 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 We agreed a deal with Bournemouth dont know any more but it never went to tribunal

Settled outside of Tribunal.

Guest Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Rich Sharpe tells me he believes there IS a sell on clause!!

I didn't see anything mentioned at the time I quick search and found only that the clubs agreed on a fee. No info on sell on clause. But can't imagne Rovers, who actually offered him a deal he rejected, didn't get a sell on when they avoided a tribunal. That's just insane if so. 1
Bbrovers2288 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 That would be a result if we got some money for king- personally don’t think he is Man Utd quality but you batter in ole 1

Paul Mani Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Just seen Eddie Howes interview. Looks like the King deal is very likely! 1
roversfan99 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Even if he was sold we wouldnt suddenly start splashing out buying players at this late stage.

Lots of very good players have flopped there. 1
Guest Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Sell on fee doesn't work like a quick bank transfer into Tony Mowb's Lloyds and there's a cheeky 5mil and Jozwiaks a Rover. It'll be the summer before we see the effect of that compensation, but will help massively with FFP more than anything.

Hey hey less of that Seriously though,it might give us a bit more flex with wages, but I agree I doubt we would splash it, but Curtis at 3 million...... 1
