simongarnerisgod Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 strange way of trying to get people through the turnstiles, don`t sign any reinforcements to push for a play off spot and settle for mid table obscurity,we`ll be playing in front of less than 10000 come march and april? 2

Commondore Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 I've been impressed with Atsu when I've seen him play for Ghana, and he's played almost 20 games for a not terrible PL side already this season. My only reservation would be that I'm not sure he has the motivation to step down to the Championship on loan and push on from there, I'd rather have a hungry player with something to prove. 1

That's what I said - Like a Harrison Reed at the time. 1

Bit of a waste of time if they want his £30k weekly wage covering in full or most of it and we won't get above £10k per week. Well we don't know what we offer so I'm not going to slated the club for anything yet.
islander200 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Nixon saying the Robinson-milan deal off couldn't agree personal terms and on his way back to the uk

Don't mind him Chaddy, he will have a negative spin even if we sign Atsu. Says we won't match wages We match wages Moves onto new criticism without acknowledging he was wrong about the first point With that being said, 1 signing probably isn't enough....

Did Wigan change their demands I wonder... Bizzare
Angry_Pirate Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 (edited) According to the SSN website tracker, we are the only club in the entire league not to have made a signing this month. I... am... flabbergasted! Edited January 31, 2020 by Angry_Pirate
matt83 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 How come blackburn would get £5m. Didn’t Bournemouth sign him as a free agent after his contract expired? Presumably not.

There ,I said it. 5

roversfan99 Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Nothing happening. No one can be surprised, no signs of ambition or competency and the token gesture of a speculative and unrealistic last minute loan deal will do nothing to suffice. 4

OssyLad Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 (edited) Business done! Not surprised but extremely disappointed especially with our luck with injuries Edited January 31, 2020 by OssyLad

Presumably not. Every club where a player has been between the ages of 12-23 gets to share 5 % when he generates a transfer sum. In other words, we'd be getting a bit of compensation, but nowhere near £5 million. 1

Guest Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Well that’s it then, see you on the summer thread where for the 6th window in a row, we need to sign some defenders!

Are you sure about this?As reports suggest we have a 20 percent sell on Clause and we did a deal with Bournemouth before it went to tribunal
Norbert Rassragr Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 That Korean Ki Sung-Yeung has left Newcastle, and is available on a free. No idea if he's any good though.
